This house running on generator power. They do not expect to have their power restored tonight. This one tree that crashed in their yard a small snippet of what has happened overnight. There are several of them out damage here after a powerful tornado ripped through overnight. Hundreds of trees in concord were snapped like twigs or pulled out of the ground from the 100 mile winds from an ef tornado overnight. Anybody who doubts the future and precision of Mother Nature just needs to take a walk along the route that was hit by that storm. Reporter the tornado was only on the ground for 30 seconds. It did so little time. I find it hard to believe in one minute anything could do what this storm did up there. Reporter very little damage to homes. At the same time Tree Companies are working over time cutting trees and making sure that the roads stay clear. It will be a long night ahead as crews and the neighborhood works to return to normal. She was in exercise clothes when she says she was 26 year old Vanessa Young of somerville came up to her on 5th street and tried to grab a satchel she had in her left hand. The nun told the suspect she didnt have any money. All she had were rosary beads, a key and a small momento. She noticed another woman now idded as vanessa wife crystal young. She was standing behind the suspect doing look out. And the mother of the convent said taking that symbol of faith was a blessing. I believe it was the grace of the rosary that saved both of them.
