Reporter investigators scoured the area for hours searching for the suspect who took off on a bicycle towards salem, leaving runners and walkers scared, but not necessarily detoured to be out here. Investigators say the use of deadly force to shoot and kill spree was justified to do so. Today investigators released the report into this death. 7s Adam Williams is now live in the newsroom with more of the details. Weve been looking at it and the reports conclusion is clear, saying Arthur Derosa murdered two people without any givings or excuse and that the sheriffs deputy was clearly justified in using deadly force. In that report released today by the Bristol County d. A. s office, derosa is described as man and pick depressed even calling his half sister, day before he checked himself in to a Mental Health facility. The report details much of what we already know about that deadly night, that derosa entered a home and stabbed two women, killing one before driving to the Silver City Galleria crashing into the macys, assaulting people there, and then enter the petuccis inside the mall where he attacked a pregnant server. Then killed a man when he was trying to help her. Thats when sheriffs deputies shot and killed derosa. An autopsy of derosa found that he died of a single gunshot wound to the chest. The resort casino got unanimous approval to start the building process in everett. Firefighters surrounding an area where it looks like a white suv tried to get into a garage but did not hit the garage, instead hit a brick wall. And you can see all of the bricks sort of touchable to the ground there. We are told here on the scene that there were two people inside that suv, they both were taken by an ambulance to the hospital. Fi this time it looks like the integrity of that wall right there, make sureth okay for people to come here. Now, they have roped off the area and there are many neighbors in the area who are looking around just trying to figure out exactly whats going on. Firefighters have not briefed us on the situation at this point and its unclear why that suv swerved in that direction and hit the wall instead of the garage itself. But again a very active scene out here right now, and the area is being surrounded by firefighters trying to figure out if this area is safe for any other people or cars to go 7news. Thank you. This just into the 7news room, a dracut woman missing for three days has been found. Authorities say katherine was found around noon today near the woods behind a line of homes in dracut. A vigil was held last night encouraging everyone to keep looking for this woman who has dementia and parkinsons disease. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution. New at 4 00, a Memorial Service held for a connecticut woman lost at sea. At hartford at a Hartford Church this morning, honoring 54yearold linda carmen, who disappeared during a mother and son fishing trip. That was in september. Her son Nathan Carmen attended todays service. Their boat reportedly took on water and sank. Her son was rescued about 100 miles off the coast of Marthas Vineyard after a week spent at sea. The victims son Nathan Carmen was questioned by police in the 22yearold not facing any charges. Police saying he was also a suspect until the unsolved 2013 death of his grandfather, but wasnt charged in connection to that case either. His grandfather left an estate of more than 42 mission to his four daughters, including linda carmen. Thats the real deal. The tsa hosting a demonstration today with a passenger screening dog. This black lab named jazz is a little different than some other bombsniffing dog. Shes been trained to detect explosives concealed on the body or in the passengers carryon bags. The dogs handlers described the training lack lynn air force base for three months and then we come back here to logan and we do additional training to get jazz certified. So its roughly between a 4 and 5month process before the dogs train good enough to work here in the environment.
