Police are trying to figure out how two people died in their home. Center street yesterday afternoon on a report of a shooting. Somebody happened upon the scene and called the police and im sure you heard the radio traffic, that somebody had been shot and there was a lot of blood and when we arrived, what we found are two people deceased in the home. Officials say the adult victims were found with an infant and a toddler. The kids were not hurt. But taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. Police are still processing the scene. And talking with witnesses who were at the home when they arrived. To hear about what happened. Police havent identified the two victims. Or released any information on a possible suspect. These would be the 18th and 19th homicides of the year in des moines. Police say the shooting followed a fight between two groups. City leaders are considering additional lighting and security cameras in the area.
