Police say they found 31year old travis Alan Williams of earlham, dead inside. Investigators say williams entered the home. And the people inside shot him. They are 19 year old ali cano and his girlfriend 18 year old Whitney Campbell of des moines. Officers say if their lives were in danger, they had a right to 15 40 56 specifically, too, if you dont have a way to retreat so, if you have an option to retreat, or get out, or get yourself to safety, that is what we prefer you do, but if you dont have that option, then at that point, you do have a right to defend yourself. 01 18 the two say they did not know williams prior to the incident. The investigation is on going. A driver charged in a deadly crash will appear in court today. 24 year old troy mure junior is facing vehicular homicide and owi charges. Police say mure slammed his car into a tree, killing his passenger, 22 year old scalicity boyd. Mure claims another car was chasing him before the crash and is asking for the charges to be reduced. His preliminary hearing is set for this morning. Deanna gliem is also due back in court today. She faces four counts of vehicular homicide. Another car on hubble avenue last month. In that car was 60yearold rick hummel and 59yearold randy sonnenburg. Witnesses say gliem was driving twice the speed limit at the time of the crash.
