Covers alabama for our sister station wtvm, rick as you can imagine there are media members from all over the country covering the big game in glendale, including paul stockman, he is a sports anchor reporter at one of our raycom sister station at wtvm in georgia. Paul, thanks a lot for joining us. Paul its great to be here rick, its a little colder than i thought. Rick yes, cold and rainy not the type of weather i was expecting. Okay lets talk a little bit about football, you covered alabama tell us why the crimson tide will beat clemson and win their 16th national championship. Paul i tell you what, it all starts with number 2 in the backfield, Derrick Henry, the Heisman Trophy winner for a reason. I know Everybody Loves Deshaun Watson in your area i gotta say Derrick Henry earned that right. Four 200 yard games he carries the load for this entire offense. Then defensively, alabamas front four is going to be Something Like Deshaun Watson hasnt seen all very physical. They shut down the running attack and theyve done a great job of getting in the face of every quarterback theyve gone up against this season. Rick but have they faced anyone like Deshaun Watson, has the arm is very accurate and really can run away from his defenders. Paul well i dont know if hes the same in terms of his accuracy. But i will say joshua dobbs out of tennessee he was a mobile qb everybody thought was going to run all over alabamas defense as well, but alabama got to him five times in route to a victory so it could be a long for clemson if Deshaun Watson cant get going. Rick okay paul give us a prediction. Paul i think im going to have to say its going to be a good game but i think alabama is going to pull away late 3114 crimson tide en route to that 16th national title. Rick i think its going to be a close game, the tigers are going to win their 18th straight game, theyre going to knock off the to give it 2421 clemson. Hey paul thanks for joining us.
