In july of last year he was charged with discharging a weapon into a dwelling and then his most recent charge from saturday of murder and armed robbery. Richland county deputies believe heatley shot and killed his exgirlfriend, 19yearold Deanndra Roach sometime thursday night or early friday morning. Her body was discovered late friday afternoon. Deputies say it was the victims stolen debit card that ultimately led them to heatley. It was based on the Surveillance Video we had, the fact that he was in possession of the victims debittard and of course talking with acquaintances as well as the victims friends. Not even an hour after the victim was located we discovered he used the victims debit card at a few atm locations throughout the area and he placed some orders as well. Were trying to determine what led up to this and this is what were working on right now. Investigators have not released a motive but i am communicated with each other even after they had broken up.
