Details are emerging about the suspect in an attack at ohio state university. 18yearold Abdul Razak Ali artan was an immigrant from somalia. Federal investigators was upset posting on facebook, i cant it anybody. He deliberately jumped a curb. He then got out carrying a butchers knife and started to slash people. Thats when a Campus Police officer confronted him. He was yelling and the guy wouldnt stop. And the cop was forced to shoot him. Ali artan was killed. Christina peggy is back in the intensive care unit at frader hospital after she was hit bay car in West Milwaukee. Shes got a broken arm, broken ribs, fractured skull. Christina peggy was walking to her new West Milwaukee home wednesday night and was hit by a mitchell and beloit. Her family tells me someone found her laying on the street and called 911. Somebody that you loved and cared about. I want you to please do the right thing. Contact the West Milwaukee police. West Milwaukee Police tell 12 crosswalk. Theyre trying to get a look at footage nearby. The family says theyre praying peggy can recover for her three children who also lost their father several years ago. Shes kind and loving. Late november and lots of tornado reports. Theyre all quite weak but nonetheless any time you see tornadoes you have to take them seriously. Eight tornado reports coming out of iowa today. And the big story weatherwise are the fires that are burning in the Smoky Mountains right now. Were going to take you to eastern tennessee to gatlinburg thatshe in eastern tennessee. Want to point out a couple of things this area right here, thats the smoke plume. Even after the rain moved through, it did not put out the fires. The fires are still ongoing. As many as 30 building burning in gatlinburg right now. Its a tragic situation happening. Well keep a close eye on that and have a lot more tomorrow morning on 12 news this morning. Why the fires . States had very little rain for almost four months in a row. The drought situation has become exfleem many areas and so you get these fires going. You get wind like we had today. 50, to 60 to 70 miles an hour spread to those fires very rapidly. Rain is about to come to an end. Weve got a great tuesday.
