We spoke to the womans mother who says away without checking on her daughter. 23yearold savanna scott died this weekend in a crash near 51st and auer. She was a passenger in a car that police say ran a stop sign and crashed into an suv. Savanna was ejected from the car and her friends allegedly left her there. Police havent identified the people in the car but savannas mother says it was her god daughter and her boyfriend. Right now officials in illinois are investigating what caused a house explosion. The explosion destroyed a townhome complex last night in a neighborhood near joliet. Witnesses tell the Chicago Tribune that it sounded like a bomb and an earthquake. After the blast, crews worked to two gas Company Workers were hurt while responding, one is in critical condition. Officials say no one was inside the building when the explosion happened. Authorities are investigating now to find out what caused it.
