The Fire Department is saying crews were called out after 11 00 last night after a 32foot power bolt hit the brick wall. They were pulled to safety. The bet was speeding when the crashed and the two men are being investigating for operating while intoxicated. Right now the boat can be seen police are trying to find whoever shot and killed a 24yearold man around 9 30 last night. Investigators say the man was found lying on the sidewalk near a home at energith street and capital drive. First responders tried to save the man. But he died at the scene. No suspects have been named and the shooting remains under investigation. There is a state of emergency in effect in South Carolina and North Carolina this morning. Matthew weakened to a category two storm overnight, but it is still expected to cause significant damage as it moves north today. Along the South Carolina coast more than 300,000 people evacuated ahead of the storm. And this morning, thousands of families in florida are still in the dark after Hurricane Matthew. But p c lights back on by monday. The hurricane blew by the state yesterday with devastating winds and heavy rain claiming the lives of six people. This is what families in st. Augustine are dealing with, down trees and flooded streets from the storm surge. It is expected to tom eight feet later today. At one point yesterday, two dozen people, including children were trapped by rising water around the bed and breakfast. Shims with relief supplies for hurricane victims in haiti. The storm devastated the island when the tore through on tuesday. The official death toll is nearly 300 people. But the haitian government excepts that that rise over the next few days.
