Police have a suspected drunk driver in custody. Happened along four mile road and old farm road. A truck slammed into the back of a car making a left turn. In the car, a 39yearold man and a 9yearold daughter died. A 6yearold child survived. The driver of the truck, a 26yearold man from racine was indicted. Police have a suspected drunk driver in custody. The crash happened last night along 4mile road and old farm road. Police are saying a truck slammed into the back of a car making a left turn. Inside of the car, a 39yearold man and his 9yearold daughter died. A 6yearold in the car survived and was taken to the hospital. Investigators work to determine how fast the truck was traveling. The driver of the truck. Was arrested on two counts of homicide. And in Hales Corners a Police Sergeant was dash cam captures a crash near sphinxth after the driver refused the drop. But way more cars going west than east this morning. 36 degrees currently. As we look right now, live outside in racine theres been just a couple of peaks of sun from timetotime. Overall mainly cloudy skies. There also 36 degrees and a fairly light south to southwest breeze. We had a veil of clouds across the area. This is not showing it too w but one to two breaks from timetotime. The main clearing is just beginning to reach madison and then bank of clouds behind that. Work sun in, but overall, a mix of sun and clouds. Thats in the forecast. This is statewide, partial sunshine. Northern wisconsin or the upper michigan. The 30s to 40s. And low 50s to the south and way aboveaverage in marquette and wausau the 30s to 40s there. And lets talk about the changes ahead. We have a rainy system that will arrive sunday night and sunday. For today a mix of sun and clouds. By 12 still clouds across up. Watch what happens patchy fog develops after midnight and widespread across the area. Milder air starts to flow over the cloud. And dry traveling anywhere across the state. Probably wont need your sunglasses. And 3 00 a. M. , this area of rain start to lift northeast. I think probably 8 00, 9 00, 10 00 p. M. Drizzle and a rain shower here in southeastern wisconsin. Then this area of steady rape overnight. And a few showers on monday morning and then a surge of moisture on monday into tuesday with more rain. It will be just way too warm to get any snow with this system. And the warm front will push through the area. And the winds will kick up 15 to 20 miles per hour. If you looking to snow you have to go to the dakotas. And later in the sevenday forecast, we will cooldown enough to see a sprinkle or a flurry late in t monday and tuesday are pretty wet days across the area. The potential for a halfinch to maybe an inch of rain here across southeastern wisconsin. And then we gradually see temperatures cool. Look that night time lows. The coldest we get in the next seven days here in the city is 32 degrees. And our average lows are falling fast to the 20s. We only the that one reel shot of cold air last weekend.
