And 4percent report hearing nothing at all about it. Cf we then asked, what are your feelings about police in your community. the overwhelming majority, 86percent, say police make them feel mostly safe cf 12 say theyak however, when broken down by race 90percent of white respondents feel safe with police. But cf among African Americans or hispanics, its 57 comfortable and 37 anxious. franklin explains African Americans and hispanics were combined because of the small sample size.
