Six children had to be rescued from the blaze. Four of them by their grandmother. But morgans stepson. 10 year old kevin little. And littles cousin. Two year old Taenajah Morgan died little was found in an upstairs bedroom, using his body to shield his cousin. Investigators found evidence of accelerant throughout the home. Prosecutors say morgan used gasoline to intentionally start the blaze. Prosecutors also say morgan asked a man he recognized down the block. To call 911. Before there were visible signs of the fire. The 62yearold was sentenced to 6 years in prison and another 11 years on extended supervision this summer. Police say they found prescription drugs in brantners boot when he was arrested last year for the murder of berit beck. The jury failed to reach a verdict on murder charges.
