At Reagan National, security line zebulon all day as travelers try to go north ahead of the blizzard. They said maybe tomorrow. 3000 northeastbound flights have been grounded already. One stop in philadelphia and that could turn into quite a mess. And Reagan National airport, essentially every flight headed northbound has been cancelled. These two flights, american eagle, it was supposed to take off both cancelled. Two more flights canceled. Boston, same thing. One flight to maine was canceled and that airport has been closed. We may have delays and end up over night in philadelphia or elsewhere. Whatever happens will happen. Amtrak is halting all northeast trains this afternoon. That storm dumped at least two feet of snow in the city. As many as four feet of snow in other parts of the northeast. The storm today has backed up travel here. We have Winter Weather around here in a couple spots. We got a light mixed. A little band in western Fauquier County and culpeper county. Into the evening we could get another shot of snow on the backside of it. We cannot overstate the significance of how big this storm is. Some snow totals in places in boston, 3 feet. Maybe up to 30 inches in spots in new england. Across our region, we are looking at is set up where we have a lot of moisture and thats all coming together to our south and east. It will pull together and intensify as the heads off to the east and southeast. It will continue to bring in more and more precipitation and that will affect us as we go into the next couple days. Lets show you new york. We saw snowflakes earlier. Dont be fooled. The storm system will give them more and more snow developing across the area and lifting into new york. The heaviest timeframe for this is late tonight into early tomorrow morning, which the timing is better because fewer people would be out. Ocean city, 1. 5 inches of rain since yesterday. About a halfinch in lusby and manassas. Centreville picked up just under half inch. The system is building off to the north and east. Just above freezing rain now. There will be cooler air. We will see snow piling up. We are having a little rainfall right now. A couple inches in new york and philadelphia, maybe four inches. Its not just the snow. There will be rough surf along the waterways. Hurricane force winds possible, along the coast lines. Thats not out of the question. Temperatures are little milder here. The suspect was demanding two children at first after flagging down a school bus. The driver tried to close the bus door and put it in reverse. Thats when the gunman opened fire shooting the best director several times. As he tried to reverse the bus that is when jimmy lee dykes ran to the front seat. Thats where ethan sat. He dragged him off the bus in front of all those children. He was the one child in front of the bus that they would all watch being dragged away up to the bunker. Than had been his assigned seat.
