The wreck happened saturday on Leesburg Pike while an officer was responding to a disorderly call. He just slammed in the side of a minivan. The officer was going above the speed limit when the crash happened. Right now no charges on either party being filed. But its not clear at this point who is at fault. The officers dash cam video system was damaged beyond repair. Michelle developing in the district, two people shot on alabama avenue southeast. One of them critically injured. The two men were alert when police and paramedics got there after 10 00. No description of the gunman. As soon as we get one we will share it with you. But if not, they wait to free them up without lights to transport to the hospital. We have progress to report to you. Sam fy Officials Say there is more time for training, repairing the ambulances and the Response Time improve by a they estimate half to threequarters of the patients dont need to go to the emergency room at all. Today they announced a new program coming soon. Call to 911 may get you switched to a nurse who on the phone will tell you, you just need a clinic. They will decide which outpatient setting they should go for the sameday medical care and they will patch in the same day transport for the individual. Sam transport may mean a cab ride. This is a story you will see only on abc7. Our Montgomery County reporter kevin lewis outside Circuit Court in rockville where the man is scheduled for trial later this year. Kevin . Kevin kevin that is roger miller jr. Last month they arrested the 20yearold for allegedly shaking his 5monthold baby boy to death. Paramedics were called to the apartment complex in the white oaks section of Silver Spring and found the infant gasping for air and bleeding from the nose and vomiting. He now fast forward to this month and Police Charged miller for beating his 10weekold pitbull puppy to death. They found the dog named miol lying along milo lying along the street. It was 23 degrees outside and milo was spasms. His body temp was so low the staff couldnt get a reading. Doctors ultimately euthanized milo because his suffering was so severe. Millers girlfriend later told police the 20yearold repeatedly kicked and punched milo because the puppy wouldnt respond to its name. Every time i turn on the news myself, you know, somebody is killing this person. Their wife, husband, children. It doesnt matter. It is sad. Its really sad. Miller is behind bars awaiting trial for the death of his infant son. July. Between the case involving the puppy and his son, a judge could sentence him to more than life in prison.
