M. , a severe thunderstorm, capable of producing a tornado, located about nine miles north of fredericksburg, moving toward the southeast at about 20 Miles Per Hour. For those of you in this area, who are watching this now in Stafford County, this is the time you need to seek shelter, bring everyone inside that may has been outside enjoying themselves in this late spring day, almost summer. This is the storm now moving off toward the south and east. The Populated Areas across the , of course, fredericksburg is very populated. If you could widen this out a little bit, this is well to the south of the d. C. Metro area. This is a Tornado Warning issued until 5 45 p. M. It appears there we go. A better idea. Here is stafford. Right here is harwood. The area with tornado is actually on the ground, but we do have a warning that is in effect until 4 45 p. M. This is moving off toward the southeast. The storm itself is moving at 20 Miles Per Hour. Thats why the duration is a little longer, maybe half an hour or so, or 45 minutes. This is what we are looking at in terms of cloud tops. Around 20,000 feet. These right here are around 40,000. This could be an area we are looking at where the tornado could potentially be located. The is now moving off for southeast at 20 Miles Per Hour and we will continue to track it away from the metro area i should say it will continue to track sort of east over the next hour or so. Arou is rural. It is not densely populated. This is another small town over there. Hazel grove, just off toward the west of us. If you are in hazel grove and looking due north, you are looking at the storm moving in closer to your area. Thats something to look out for. See onthe cities you here, chancellor into rock grove, this is the time bellevue this is the time you need to seek shelter. Spotsylvania, just on the southern edge of the warned area. Are capable ofls producing 23 inches over a very short time area. I am surprised by all the water we have had on the roadways, that we have not had any flash flood warnings posted.
