We are following that breaking news a double shooting in Queen Annes County sends minutes the Sheriffs Office tells us one of their deputies is in Critical Condition after being shot early this morning. We just got these pictures from police at the scene. Gunfire erupted just before 1230 on edmore road in chestertown. This all happened after deputies responded to a domestic dispute. Once inside, the suspect armed himself with a shotgun and fired at the deputy who then returned fire. Both the deputy and suspect were shot. The deputy was transported to shock trauma in baltimore where he is undergoing surgery right now. We do know the deputy is a 4year veteran of the Queen Annes County sheriffs department.
