Chris the farm was a horse rescue with over a Million Dollars in donations. Status, thenprofit farms were run in virginia and maryland, but over the summer she moved all the horses to virginia, one of which was ma ddie. Industrys the horse board, which mandates that nonprofit horse rescues b licensed, registered, it inspected. We are the only state i know of in the country that does this. Decades, nonprofit rescues have not had any horses seized, while other states including West Virginia and virginia have. I just cannot imagine the amount of suffering. Chris she she believes had maddie stayed in maryland where the farm was being inspected, she would be back home. This has happened before. Last year and nonprofit horse rescue left maryland for virginia after failing to rescue, which costs 125 per year.
