Test test test test test test if you are at Kennedy Space center, you are living near there, you need to get there, i would say hold off a little while. This is moving to the north and east. I would say more than 25 miles an hour now. As it is doing that, it could be spinning up and it could lead to at least some damaging wind possibly a tornado. This is a rotating storm. Lets turn on our storm tracks again. Again, it is showing weak rotation, where you are seeing that orange, reddish color. Well stop the loop. Where you see the arrow, that is the radar indicating where we are seeing rotation. The red indicating the heavy rain. Lets pinpoint where we could see some of that, deeper red color, i just saw a pulsing there is possible hail to the north of Meritt Island where you see the rain rates approaching four inches an hour. Thats a good indication of hail. That is merit trs island. You see purple, down to street level, theres kennedy parkway. Right there at kennedy parkway, lets see, lets back up and show you where there is the possibility of hail in that small area. Nasa shuttle landing, a lot of these areas are near the Kennedy Space center. Thats where we are seeing the possibility of hail. If you are driving in that direction heading to work or you live near there. That is where there is the possibility of hail and a rotating storm. We are seeing indications of weakening which is good news to the south now, south and these are our storm tracks. They are indicating where we are seeing some rotation with this that you can see for pine island road, 405. These are all areas seeing strong wind and they are under a Tornado Warning. The warning is in effect until 5 00 this morning. We have a Severe Thunderstorm Warning moving out of Osceola County but moving into central and southern Brevard County. That main concern would be wind, Straight Line winds possible, damaging winds could be moving through. Again, thats south of this region. Where we are showing you, this is the Tornado Warning area, meaning the Doppler Radar is indicating rotation within the storm. As i take you to street level, these are areas where if there is a tornado they would be impacting some of these streets. That would be pine island road, dell boarra road. All those are areas seeing the possible rotation. Continuing north of there where you see the deeper red, these are all at Kennedy Space center, all definitely seeing heavy rain and the possibility of strong wind. Winds possible up to 50 to 60 miles an hour with some of these not a huge indication of a well defined hook. We are not seeing a large tornado if there is one. It would not be on the larger side. You dont need a large tornado to cause a lot of damage. We want everyone in the path of the storm to know you are dealing with strong wind and heavy rain. A lot of lightning and the possibility of hail. There is rockledge. Rockledge, down to cocoa beach, palm shores, thats where we are and strong wind gusts moving through. We continue to see puple shading, this is to the south of the Tornado Warning area. Lets draw this line. It continues to move to the east and we are seeing hail, lets put that on the pinpoint. Oh, definitely up to seven inches an hour, there is hail within this that could lead to damage to cars. Lets zoom into this. Not a lot of Populated Areas coming up on the street map. As we take a Lake Washington road, eau gallie boulevard at i95 turtle mound road. These are all areas in Brevard County seeing strong winds and hail. We take you to street level so you know this is some of the as we back up, we show you the line is moving quickly to the east. As it is at nearly 50 miles an hour or greater, it is moving out of other areas. We are drying out in much of central florida. As people are now just waking up, probably heading to work in the next couple of hours, well have wet roads from the heavy rain that moves through. We wont deal with the threat anymore for i4, for i75. Those major roadways, the 408. Many areas looking better for your drive to work. Starting to pick up speed. That was a good thing. The only issue is that it happened early in the morning when a lot of folks are asleep. If there is damaging wind, if there are rotating cells leading to tornadoes, the concern is that there could be people sleeping who may have had damage. If you have family and friends in any of these areas i have been mentioning like cocoa, rockledge, anywhere near the Kennedy Space center, back over under the Tornado Warning for a couple of minutes. It is moving to the east. I just want to make sure the people in these areas know what is going on if they are asleep. Even if we are losing that threat of a tornado, we know there is damaging wind possible and damaging hail possible with some of this moving near the rockledge area and south of rockledge. These leavitt parkway in the andrews area. As you see the deepest red colors, these are areas with heavy rain at least a couple of inches an hour coming down, moving to the north and northwest at 25 miles an hour. Where you see the pulsing purple color when you see that pop up, that is showing the heaviest of the rain and the possibility of hail. All of these rejohns seeing heavy rain coming down. You are probably wondering, if you have to head off to work, i i think a lot of this will be pushed to the east, much of this pushing out to sea and clearing central florida. Heres melbourne really under the gun with this line of strong wind. I think we could see winds up to 60 miles an hour or greater. This is an area under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning not a Tornado Warning but the possibility of damaging wind and hail could be an issue for melbourne, melbourne beach, again, where you see the yellow, that is going to be moderate rain. Lets show you the rain totals per hour. Not a ton of rain coming down when you consider the rate in these areas of yellow yellow. To your west, major rain rates. We are seeing rain rates up at times near seven inches an hour. That doesnt mean youll see seven inches of rain where you are. It means a lot of rain is coming down. The good news is it is moving. As it moves over one area and moves into another area, it will area, rather than one area over the same area for the same period of time. Lets zoom into where we are seeing possible hail, eau gallie boulevard at i95 f, Lake Washington road, aurora, it pulses, indicating heavy rain. If you have somewhere to go, i would hold off at least 10 minutes or so. A lot of this will have moved off. A lot of this on top of i95 for vieira, down south of vieira, along i95. Some of the most intense weather. So lets pinpoint some of the communities that will be impacted next with that Severe Thunderstorm Warning. The Tornado Warning set to expire. It is 5 00.
