Reporter and we want to make sure that you stay safe if its not unusual to get out of your car and check for the damage just to make sure everything is okay if you are in that fender bender but what is happening is someone else from the car that just hit you gets inside and drives off. So, police are saying if this happens to you, even if you are in a small accident, call 911 and the best thing to do is to make sure you stay in the car until police arrive. I was in the car hit me from behind and i got out to check the damage and then the person jumped in my car and drove away. We just drove past a lady she was on the ground and she said she just had her car stolen someone drove off with it.
