We want parents to know they need identify the best place for their child. We shouldnt be forced to send our kids to a school that is one size fits all. This is the 4th year for the big rally. And in South Carolina parents really do have a variety of choices including home schooling, online learning, magnet schools, public schools, Charter Schools and private cools. We spoke schools. We spoke to the superintendent can she says parents must educate theirselves to choose the first school for their child. You need to investigate and choose what is right for each individual child. Students like different things, different settings and you have different options and dont just assume that one is bad or you need to go and visit the school, you need to find out about the curriculum and see how your child responon. Court documents say 600 people will be summoned to court as potential jurors in the Death Penalty trial of dillon roof. On june 28 the jurors will report for general qualification. In order a tackle the road issue the senate met to debate d. O. T. Reform and funding. They are meeting now as they debate whether or not the governor should appoint d. O. T. And how it commissioner should be restricted. Right now bigger counties get the commissioner. E committee is looking at how to pay for roads. A senator says right now the 12 gas tax increase over the next few years. And that will be the primary source of the biggest revenue. There are other modest increases, raising the drivers license fee, redoing the way we commercial commercial trtrks pay their property taxes so we could benefit from all the out of state trucks come in. It is a user fee. It is only a fee for those people buying gas. In terms of the income tax cut he says they may decide reduce the sales tax by half a penny.
