Dan good morning. This is a nightmare for anybody just out and about. It was a fatherdaughter day and the decided to take a stroll and that and did unexpectedly in frank, who was 73 years old, died after he was hit by the bus. S 41 years old, is at Uc Medical Center with serious injuries. She is in stable condition after surgery last night. Investigators say the two were crossing erie avenue and edwards road in the crosswalk when the 51 crosstown bus hit them. There were no passengers on the bus when this happened, but the driver was also taken to the hospital in shock. This is a driver that s been with metro for about 10 years. So a driver that has quite a bit of experience. The driver of the metro bus has been transported. Again, very upsetting experience for all of us in the metro family. Our hearts are with the people who are involved. Dan Cincinnati Police say excessive speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in this crash. Mark a 14yearold is now facing serious jail time after he was found guilty of raping another teenager at a party. This all started after a Springboro High School Football Game in september. A teenager decided to throw a party. There was marijuana and alcohol. That s when police say a girl who was too drunk to walk or even stand was raped. Everybody that was there knew that she was extraordinarily intoxicated, couldn t stand on her own, couldn t speak, and he decided that he was going to engage in Sexual Conduct with her at essentially the encouragement of some of the other males that were there. Mark the 14yearold will be sentenced this coming wednesday. Lisa shocking news rocking the thomas more college community. A leader on campus is now facing 36 counts of possessing child investigation has been going on for years. Wlwt news 5 s andrew setters is live in Kenton County this morning with the latest details. Good morning. Andrew Robert Marshall has gone from being in charge of Campus Safety at thomas more to being held here in the Kenton County detention center. He was arrested on campus yesterday. Robert marshall had been around the thomas more campus for years. He s been director of Public Safety for more than a decade. But on his home computer, investigators believe he was collecting child pornography. The investigation was not an easy one. Investigators say he used a program to try to scrub the hard drive on his computer, making it more difficult to recover the evidence. Marshall was arrested yesterday after being indicted by the Kenton County grand jury. It s shocking to me and it s not really like it scares me, like i didn t feel unsafe or anything. It just blows our minds that that someone that would do that actually really gross and wrong. That ey would do Something Like that. Especially with children being involved makes it worse. This month fitbit was hit with a Class Action Lawsuit alleging fraud. According to the suit, two of the company s heart rate monitors, the Fitbit Charge hr and the fitbit surge, don t accurately measure your heart rate, which could be dangerous. The suit surprised Consumer Reports, who tested and recommended the devices. So, Consumer Reports retested them. The testers again found both fitbit models were on point, but noted one exception. The Fitbit Charge hr would give more inaccurate readings at higher intensity workouts, depending on where the strap was put on the arm. If you follow fitbit s recommendations, however, the monitor seems accurate. While Consumer Reports says it will keep an eye on the fitbit lawsuit, it says it will continue to recommend the fitbit surge and the fitbit hr trackers. These are really popular.
