The fire started in the 1800 block of fairfax avenue, just before 4 00 this morning. We have video sent in by a viewer on the scene. Thank you for doing that. When crews arrived, the fire spread to the attic. Extra crews had to be caught in to get the flames under control. The fire is out. The official cause under investigation. Its tearing me down. Its literally killing me. Were lost for words. We dont know what to do. Continue this morning for a Pendleton County a week ago. The family of tara turner says she was with a friend sunday. He claims to have dropped tara off near the california marketplace along the aa highway. Taras father says she hasnt been in contact with her children or anyone in the family. Her phone has had no activity since she disappeared, which is highly unusual. Shes on her phone every day. Every day. Weve got a lot of family members involved in it. The Pendleton County Sheriffs Office is asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to call them. Police are looking for the suspects who sprayed several middle town homes with bullets in recent months. Someone fired at least eight rounds in this home on yankee road thursday. A mom is being held on a 10,000 bond, accused of overdosing in a kroger parking lot with her daughter in the car. Police found crystal hall with a syringe she used to shoot heroin. Hall will not be allowed contact with her daughter. A grand jury will hear the case coming up on february 16. Word of that arrest comes as Warren County is taking a very visible approach to fighting the heroin epidemic. A new billboard is offering catching heroin traffickers. Wlwt news 5s mike dardis has details. Reporter this is the sign creating more than a few conversations in union township. A billboard along state route 48 encouraging tips and Text Messages to combat a still growing epidemic. The added incentive, cash to report drug abuse. The project is privately funded and anonymous, but the message is anything but. Warren county experienced a 42 increase in heroin related Overdose Deaths from 2014 to 2015. Another sobering reality, the fact that drug overdoses now top car crashes as the leading cause of accidental deaths all across the state of ohio. No community is immune. More than 220 people have been pulled from the rubble there. The Health Ministry reports so far 318 people have been hospitalized. The coast guard is out searching the Pacific Ocean after it says two small planes collided off the coast of los angeles. The midair collision happened around 3 30 friday afternoon. Divers have found a plane tail number and a partial number from were on board the two planes. A team of five u. S. Experts has arrived in somalia to help put the investigation into what caused a midflight blast that ripped a hole on the side of a passenger plane. Was this video amazing . Multiple sources are saying it was likely a bomb made of military grade explosives that caused the explosion.
