We are now investigating these horrific acts an an act of terrorism. Reporter the f. B. I. Says it heads has no evidence that isis directed the attack that left 14 people dead. We are going through a very evidence. This is electronic evidence that these killers tried to destroy and tried to conceal from us. Reporter new video from inside the killers home shows it ransacked by authorities, clothe and personal items left behind, a crib for their 6monthold daughter. The area around atlantic and northern avenues was blocked off just before 10 00 this morning after a suitcase was found next to a Homeland Security vehicle. An x ray showed the suitcase had had had wires and a power source inside. The bomb squad used a robot to blow up the device. The remnants of the bag included clothes and some wires. Josh the state medical examiner has just identified the man who was killed in an Early Morning fire it a concord apartment building. 60yearold kevin curty died from smoke inhalation. Ray brewer spoke to neighbors who say the victim was trapped by the fast moving flames. Reporter the call came into the Fire Department at 3 24 in the morning, reporting smoke in the building at 96 rumford street in concord. A woman who lives across the sound. Neighbors actually screaming because they knew somebody was still in the building. Reporter audrey says she went to her front door and saw the building ablaze. It was engulfed on the first floor. Sparks flying everywhere, because power was still on. Upon our arrival at 3 29 fire was flowing out of the windows on the first floor and extending to the second floor. Reporter the fire chief says firefighters tried to enter the building and rescue the man, but the fire was too intense. Officials say there were eight out. The fire occurred in a lower floor unit where the, there is one victim. Reporter the other seven made it out safely. There was smoke detectors in the hallway which did go off from smoke that was coming into the hall, which definitely saved the other occupants of the building. Reporter the fire brought every the scene. The chief says firefighters were able to knock down the fire in keep the fire from spreading. The fire was contained to that one apartment, although there was heavy smoke damage throughout the entire structure. Reporter it will be a while back. Ray brewer, wmur news 9. Josh four people in lynn, massachusetts were killed when fire broke out in a home there. Crews say that flames engulfed the entire home by the time they had arrived, burning so hot it melted paint on nearby cars and the fire trucks. Four people got trapped and died. Firefighters were able to rescue two women who they found unconscious inside that building. Shelley a seabrook woman will spend at least five years at the State Hospital after trying to kill her two children by giving them bleach. Wendy millwright admitted she tries to force feed bleach to the children but pleaded insanity. Shes been in the psychiatric units of the state prison for the past year, but now a judge has ordered her to spend the hospital. Tonight we are learning more 3yearold from nashua who was allegedly murdered by her mother, katlyn marin last november. According to Court Documents brielle suffered from a number of injuries inflicted before she died. Kristen carosa joins us live with more. Reporter Court Documents say that brielle died from blunt impact injuries. But the medical examiner says that her injuries were also consistent with being repeatedly abused. 26yearold katlyn marin is facing two counts of Second Degree murder and one count of manslaughter. Her daughter brielle died from her injuries she sustained thats their home in nashua last november. In newly released Court Documents the states medical examiner says that her injuries were consistent with the clinical definition of battered child syndrome. Court paperwork says marin gave a number of explanations as to what led up to her daughters death including that brielle had seizures and was injured from falling down the stairs. Those who knew marin and brielle. Court paperwork says that michael rivera, marins boyfriend, told investigators marin physically assaulted brielle repeatedly and severely before her death. He also states that at least one of the assaults happened when marin caught bree nell the kitchen attempting to steal food. Also in Court Documents marins brotherinlaw joshua dean says marin has an anger management problem, and observed evidence of abuse on marins children. Investigators say on the night brielle died marins remaining children were taken from the Nashua Police department to foster care. Two of marins children told a dcyf caseworker brielle was sick the night before she died. One of the children went onto say marin put a bag over away. Marins defense attorney has filed motions looking to suppress evidence that was taken from her home, and statements she made to police the night brielle died, saying she was a miranda warning. We reached out to some of brielles family today, but they did not want to speak with us on camera. The trial is set for august. Up to the north some of the the cloud may linger. That will actually be good for you because it wont allow the temperatures to dip as low as they could. Right now were at 36 in berlin, 37 degrees in whitefield. 44 in concord, 45 manchester and nashua, where the skies clear out tonight, thats where the temperatures will be the coldest. Im expecting that to be in southern areas, so wouldnt be surprised litchfield, londonderry, windham, plaistow, atkinson, you guys will likely have some of the coldest temperatures across the state tonight, because of where the clear skies will happen longer. Up to the north, a few mountain snow showers and clouds overnight, but you see the trend overnight. By tomorrow morning only a few clouds linger north of the sunny. Tomorrow temperatures will be a couple degrees warmer than where we were today. Heres your forecast tonight.
