All schools in the city of nashua are closed today after the district superintendent says they received a detailed threat to harm students and south high schools. The fbi has now joined the investigation after that email was received yesterday. Wmurs ray brewer is live outside of Nashua High School north with more on the threat and also the response. Ray police say they will have additional patrols at the schools to try to ease concerns of parents. The state Police Bomb Squad was here last night. Officials are releasing few details about the threat. Other than to say it was an email and mentioned violence today to hurt students. They also say they cant determine if the threat was actually credible or not. Shortly after 6 00, the district put out 14,000 automated phone calls announcing that all 17 schools would be closed today. It is a tough decision to make, you know . These seem to be going on throughout the country. They seem to be happening more frequently. Many different levels. Me as a parents it fears me and scares me. I dont want to send my kids to school and not have them come back home. the threat was only directed toward the two high schools. They are being very careful and closing all schools in the city. Two private schools are also closed. Officials have not said where the threat came from. The superintendent does say he expects schools will reopen tomorrow. Live in nashua, ray erin all right.
