A 17yearold boy also walking home from a funeral in queens lost his life after being struck down by a driver. The person who hit him never stopped. He had been in the crosswalk when witnesses say the driver of a toyota camry struck him and sped away. A speeding driver also struck down a woman in queens as she crossed beach 19th street over the weekend. According to the victims family, she has shattered bones and is hospitalized. Her niece barely escaped. A 23yearold was arrest the. We saw video of him in a squad car. Those people who are caught, those who are arrested hopefully at least according to the city penalties.
