When youth unemployment in the Africanamerican Community for High School Graduates is 51 , 51 unemployed or underemployed. Technically out of the west and southwest, levels at 6 miles a hour, 34 downtown so we are cooling down, we started out at 38 as we came on the air at 5 00 and cooled down a couple degrees since then. We will see that throughout the day and sunshine. Temperatures just above freezing for most of us, a couple spots at freezing, newberry, wagner, usual suspect are cooler than us. Lexington 38. Orangeburg to our south 38. Not everybody is seeing the bitter, bitter cold but still it will feel cold as you head out. Light wind 5 to 8 miles a hour feels like 27 over in newberry. I mention the wind will be out of the west today and generally out of the northwest later on this afternoon, that should keep us cooler. If we had winds out of our south, id say we would easily be in the 60s, but because they are not out of the south we will be stuck in the mid50s. Look at this cold pocket of air and snow falling across much of the ohio valley into West Virginia and pennsylvania, kentucky, even southwestern virginia and North Carolina and tennessee. So, still a lot of cold air out there and thankfully we wont see the brunt of the impact, they wont see the moisture like they are with the snow fall, it wont be frozen for us, it will be cold this morning but as we warm up later this afternoon, temperatures applied to upper 50s, not too bad but it will be a little below average for us today, thankfully the winds will be a little lighter. The deputy is currently undergoing surgery and is listed in stable condition. There is no arrest but officials are in an armed stand off with the suspect. The spending plan gives money to kindergarten through 12th grade education and forgives 12 million in loans to South Carolina s ste university. But the historically black University Must meet certain conditions, including a yearly increase in enrollment and have dollars to income tax relief road projects and flooddevastated farmers. Speaking of flood relief for farmers, sce g has donated 25,000 to plant it forward South Carolina. The Organization Provides funds to cover a portion of seed costs for farmers. Total losses from last octobers flood are expected to exceed 500 million. And a devastating loss to farmers, home openers and businesses, its good to see folks are trying to get back on track. While apple doesnt publically disclose its watch sales, a new report from market intel firm idc shows that apple shipped about 4. 1 million of its smartwatches during the last three months of 2015. Most investors predicted that apple would sell at least 5 million. Back in july ceo tim cook told analysts they were convinced the watch would be one of the top gifts of the holiday.
