Crash in bucks county. Police say that a person was killed, four others injured in this accident on easton and county line roads. Its in warrington bucks county. Right now theres no word on what led to the crash. We do know county line road is shut down and police are investigating. Also tonight, disturbing new details in a family tragedy in burlington county. Police say a mother shot her three children before turning the gun on herself. And tonight the question theyre trying to answer is why. Eyewitness News Reporter matt rivers joins us now live from tabernacle with the latest. Matt. Reporter chris and jessica, police tell us that their investigation is still ongoing but they have released the home where all of this happened back to remaining family members and for the first time this evening, we did see people back inside that home trying to take the first steps in moving forward. The small group of volunteers came to the house around 8 00 just visible through drawn shades. They were clearing a second floor bedroom after a crime seemingly unthinkable just two days ago. It was Late Afternoon when we first learned the details. Thursday morning at 5 oclock but before 9 oclock 44yearold jeaninne lepage grabbed a revolver and pillow. She shot each of her children, then shot herself. All four victims were found in the same bed. Reporter thats where another relative found them and called 911. 14yearold nick herman and his eight year old sister nadia were killed. Their 11yearold brother alex is in Critical Condition along with his mother jeanine. Motive is not one of those things well be able to talk about today. We may never know with certainty. Reporter it all depends on if jeaninne lepage survives. If she does shell be charged with murdering at least two of her children. Its something the childrens father is dealing with. He lives in maryland but his girlfriend described the Moment Police broke the news. He broke down, broke down horribly. It was a horrific shock. Reporter a shock felt throughout this Small Community especially on the street where it happened. This womans granddaughter played willet year old nadia all the time. Its hard for me right now because when i sit on my sun porch and look out the window i can picture her running by and waving at me. Were talking about a frigid night right now but then things are going to be looking up especially for the weekend and even the first part of next week. On storm scan3 we have the clear skies, the winds lightning up a bit and temperatures are falling fast. 24 degrees right now in allentown, its 12 in the poconos, 31 in philadelphia but look at millville. Unbelievable. 18 degrees. Its not a wind chill thats the air temperature. And when you add that wind which is about five to 10 Miles Per Hour it can feel colder. In allentown feels like 24, in the poconos feels like 14. Tomorrow morning well wake up to temperatures in the 20s in the city, by noon 41, by the afternoon 43. The High Temperature will make it to 46 before falling to 39 degrees by 8 00 p. M. But these temperatures a big improvement over today. Coming up, we will be seeing that weekend warmth. Temperatures are going to be on the rise chasing record warmth next week and then a chance of rain or even snow over the course of the holiday. Well, police need your help tonight as they try to catch a knife wielding suspect who stabbed a woman to death in delaware county. The violence happened in the 700 block of ingall street in chester. Police say Gwendolyn Williams was stabbed in the chest on the street early this morning. She was able to get to a friends house but that is where she died. It is unclear what motivated that attack. And now an elderly woman is in serious condition tonight after she was shaw pulled from a burning home in Gloucester City camden county. The flames brock out on highland avenue. A second person was also in the home when the fire broke out and was taken to the hospital for observation. We know three dogs died in that fire. Officials say there were no working smoke detectors in the house. The cause is now under investigation. A touching tribute to a new jersey firefighter killed in the line of duty. Lieutenant chris hunter died last saturday less than 24 hours after responding to an emergency call. Family and friends gathered this morning at the cinnaminson fire station. After a salute his flag draped coffin was loaded onto a fire truck and chopper three was there as the motorcade made its way to the cemetery for the burial. Tuesdays fire in North Wildwood has claimed a second life. Cape may county fire coordinator art trion died the day after fighting that fire on west 17th street. The body of 36yearold linda martin was found inside the home. Officials believe the fire began accidentally while martin was handling her kerosene heater. Well, there is tension in the air tonight in ferguson, missouri, cbs news has learned that two men were arrested last night. They have been charged with buying explosives that they planned to use during protests there. The saint louis suburb is waiting to see if a grand jury will indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown. Cbs news correspondent Omar Villafranca tells us how Law Enforcement is hoping to prevent violence in the streets. I expect the best of people. Reporter Saint Louis County executive Charlie Dooley is optimistic about public reaction to the grand jurys decision on whether to indict ferguson officer Darren Wilson. Wilson shot and killed 18yearold Michael Brown august 9th. The shooting sparked weeks of sometimes violent racially charged protests. Its a scene local officials dont want repeated. The protesters are nonviolent, police will not be aggressive. Attorneys representing Michael Browns parents say the family says progress will be possible only through peaceful protests. They do not advocate any violence, any looting, any rioting. They are totally against that. Reporter most ferguson area schools are scheduled to be opened next week but administrators have contingency plans in place in case classes are canceled. Well, back in philadelphia the police are asking for your help as they try to identify a suspect who stole a package from right outside a home in south philadelphia. Take a look at this surveillance video. It was from november 14th. It shows a woman approaching the home on reed street and then stealing a package that was left by the post Office Behind a storm today. Now, if you look closely, you can see the theft actually happened in the reflection of this vans window. That woman was last seen walking away eastbound on reed street. A new trend in dining opened up in philly tonight and in this case the food may take a back seat to the service and the restaurants no tipping policy. Louie was inside her honda when it was stolen from a parking lot at the home depot on columbus boulevard in south philadelphia. J. J. Described for us the moment she was reunited with louie. He walked right up to me and started nos n they were telling me this is him. This is confirmed to be him. But i knew it, you know, as soon as as soon as he walked up. J. J. Tells us that louie lost about 15 pounds but otherwise hes in great health. So glad to hear that. And an amazing story unfolded on the streets of san francisco. A window washer fell 11 stories onto a moving car and survived. It all happened in san franciscos financial district this morning. Now, the cars roof did cave in. The driver was unharmed. The skies are clear and that wind is light but the temperatures are falling fast. Take a look at some of these numbers. Well start off where it is 28 degrees in morrisville pa. John is saying a cold night but skies are clear. Look at this, 18, the coldest number we have seen tonight. Captain chuck is saying 18 degrees with that barometric pressure on the rise from 30. 02inches. Closer to reading dave is saying 29 degrees with a very low relative humidity. The barometric pressure is high, winds out of the west at seven. Farther to the south, 23 degrees in coatesville, lee is saying frigid conditions and its only going to get lower. Temperatures have been cool the past couple of days but we will be on our way up. Consider this. Yesterday a high of only 50 but close to that average high of 54. Today not respectable at all, 37 degrees but by tomorrow we jump into the 40s, some improvement. Sunday we go above average and monday soaring to record warmth. Its not going to last long but enjoy the next four days. Temperatures right now range from 31 in philadelphia to 12 in the poconos, 18 in millville, 28 in wilmington and 26 in reading. The good news is our weather is not going to be coming from the west. Its going to be coming from the south. The same High Pressure system thats cooling us tonight will fall to the south to give us more of a southsouthwesterly flow tomorrow. Thats why temperatures jump into the 40s. As it moves off shore stronger southwesterly winds build in for sunday, High Temperature in the 50 with a good deal of sunshine. Sunday a really nice day to be outside or be at a football game. The rain moves in sunday night through early monday morning and then after that, we have strong southwesterly winds monday afternoon talking 35 miles an hour gusts. It will be windy but warm with High Temperatures challenging the record of 71. So, for monday this is what we expect. A slow morning commute especially Early Morning commute. The rain should be out of here by 8 or 9 oclock in the morning. After that southwesterly winds very strong, the high at least 70, the record 71 set back in 1979. Then we have to talk about what comes next. For thanksgiving week, watching this coastal low that looks like it will bring mainly rain wednesday. Theres a chance there could be some wet snow with this depending on how close it gets to the coast. Thanksgiving is dry but cold and then heres another area of low pressure for black friday, almost looking worse. This looks like it could bring rain and even snow and were going to keep a careful eye on both of these systems because theres a lot of time between now and then so please Pay Attention to the weather over the next several days.
