Takata has been testing those bag inflators already pulled from cars and tonight, we are learning that nearly 1 out of 100 tested ruptured. The japanese maker takata mr. Shimisu, can you tell us why you are not expanding the recall recall . Had resisted a broader recall. I am going to have ask you to step off the property. Okay, no problem. Reporter but tonight the takata ceo says, we are pleased to have reached this agreement. 11 different car makers that sell in the u. S. Are now part of this recall. And what about the replacements that have been going into recalled cars . Federal regulators would only say they are safer. The concern is are they safe over the longterm .
