tonight, we're tracking the next snowstorm, up to a foot or more possible. here's green bay. gsh gio benitez. >> reporter: tonight, just ten days till spring but for the morning commute brought multiple crashes, on new york's long island, and slide-offs in new jersey. some drivers caught off-guard. >> my back end did swerve a little bit, and there was another car behind me, so i got a little worried. >> reporter: and here's what's interesting, experts say when there's a little bit of snow on the roads like this, that's when you have a lot more accidents that's because people think it's just a lot safer. when there's more snow, people just stay off the roads. overnight in pittsburgh, a three-car pileup shut down this roadway. high winds knocking down power lines. at laguardia airport, workers rushed to de-ice planes. ground stops at all three of new york's airports led to hundreds of cancellations and delays. >> reporter: and in michigan, utility workers making progress, but still hundreds of thousands without power since wednesday's freak windstorms. this woman and her son braving temps in the teens. >> we are wearing coats all day. >> reporter: and temperatures will drop into the teens overnight. creatining dangerous roads. spring is just ten days away, hard to believe. >> and rob marciano is live with us. more on the frigid air and the possible nor'easter, could be a big one first thing next week. >> reporter: could be, this is january-like cold. freeze warnings into the midsouth, early blooming plants will be damaged. and windchills, dangerously cold in the morning, at or below zero in some spots. north carolina, you can see a couple of inches there. and tuesday, the atmosphere lining up ingredients for potentially heavy know. we think it has the potential for a powerful winter coastal storm, tuesday and wednesday. >> thank you. next, major developments from the white house. our correspondent asking president trump where is the proof? and revelations about michael flynn. was he receiving money to lobby on behalf of a foreign government? here's jonathan karl. >> reporter: the house intelligence committee has given the justice department an ultimatum: turn over all evidence, if any exists, that president obama had trump tower wiretapped. the deadline, monday. president trump made the extraordinary allegation without providing any proof. today we pressed him for some. >> thank you, press. >> mr. president, any proof at all on the wiretapping? >> thank you, press. >> thank you, please head out behind you. >> are you going to provide any proof? >> reporter: fbi director james comey, who briefed congressional leaders behind closed doors, has privately urged the justice department to say the wiretapping didn't happen. it comes as the department is investigating russia's meddling in the election, and any ties to the president's aides. national security adviser michael flynn was fired for misrepresenting the nature of his conversations with the russian ambassador. and now, another controversy. we've learned that at the height of the presidential campaign, a company with ties to the turkey government hired flynn to promote the interests of the turkish government. it came shortly after flynn's fiery speech at the republican convention. >> lock her up. that's right. lock her up. >> reporter: three weeks later flynn's firm was hired by the turkey-connected company for $530,000. he was simultaneously serving as a top adviser to the trump campaign, sitting in on classified intelligence briefings. on election day, flynn published an article declaring, "we need to adjust our foreign policy to recognize turkey as a priority. we need to see the world from turkey's perspective." this week, flynn officially filed as a foreign agent, and that's how the white house says the president learned of his work on turkey's behalf. >> are you saying the president was not aware that lieutenant general michael flynn was acting as a foreign agent when he appointed him to be national security a emember you wouldn't know that until he filed, he didn't file until two days ago so therefore nobody would have known that because he hadn't filed as a foreign agent until two days ago. >> reporter: still, the white house acknowledges flynn's lawyers told lawyers for the trump transition team that he might need to register as a foreign agent. but they insist flynn never told trump himself. >> and jon, something else. a lot of headlines, jeff sessions asking for 40 to resignll,or diane feinstein put out a statement, saying i'm concerned about this sudden and unexpected decision. but the justice department says there's nothing unexpected about it at all. new administrations typically replace most of not all of the u.s. attorneys. they're political appointees. and photos of women in the military now discovered in several places. and the top marine with a message to when in uniform about the women serving, too. here's david kerley. >> reporter: the outrage and controversy over shared nude photos of female marines is spreading to the other branches of the military. tonight, the defense secretary calling the postings "egregious violations" of the department's "fundamental values." the original site, marines united, reportedly had 30,000 members and hundreds of images linked to it. >> there is no honor in denigrating a fellow marine in any way, shape or form. >> reporter: but in apparent defiance of the commandant, other pages are popping up. still sharing images.g an angry women in the corps. >> what do you got to do to get in? come on, guys. they just want to do their job. let them do their job. and you do yours. >> reporter: former marine erika butner says an image of her was posted without consent. she complained to pentagon authorities. >> they received threats and backlash in an attempt to quiet them. we will not be silenced. >> and david joins us live. the military now investigating what crimes may have been committed, and lawmakers trying to crack down on this kind of behavior? >> reporter: yes, even if there was consent about an it would be a violation to be shown where parents of gay teens from across the country send their children, told that counselors here can stop them from being gay. >> it's going against the word of god. it is not biblically right. >> reporter: inside, a man who calls himself brother gary, the ex >> this boy here claims to be homosexual. >> reporter: he told our $21,000 yearly fee, he uses a bible, and setimes a belt, to deal with teenagers who consider themselves gay and act up. >> i wouldn't do it just because, for one, just because he says 's i'm not going to do that. >> reporter: this t one of a number of such places discovered by abc news in a yearlong investigation. including the facility behind this barbed wire, run by a so-called christian pastor, william knott, with a track record of cruelty who did not want testimonials for knott's academy described it as helping teens. >> i've come closer to god and my family. >> reporter: but other teens, including lucas greenfield, told abc news it was a place of and we saw for ourselves how this christian pastor reacts to someone he doesn't like. what did you do to those pboys. >> six of the teens had the courage to testify against him in court and he was attack. here's matt gutman. >> reporter: tonight, california police searching for the bikers behind this rush hour attack. police say biker gang showboating on wednesday turned to verbal abuse. >> there are about 20 motorcycles involved, yelling at motorists. >> reporter: and then to violent assualt. >> a passing motorist attempted to pass this group. and apparently they didn't like it. they blocked him in. >> reporter: when the driver of this white toyota gets out of his car, the men ditch their bikes to pummel him. when he tries to get up, another biker beats him down. >> apparently the victim that was being assaulted by those motorcycle riders now has a broken leg. >> reporter: tonight he's hospitalized and listed in fair condition. this type of biker road rage gripped new york city in 2013. alexien lien was dragged out of his suv and beaten by a gang of motorcyclists in front of his wife and child in upper manhattan. 11 bikers were convicted in connection with that attack. david, police say they're still investigating what started the altercation. they say they typically don't pursue the biker gangs, because the high-speed chases can often endanger the public and
