All i saw was top window there was some smoke coming out of the top window but it was very dark, very black. Reporter Fire Fighters put out the the fire in 17 minutes but they werent able to save a man in his 70s and woman in her 60s. Unaudible. Reporter howard rich man say the pair two hours earlier to use his phone to order foot. He sad utility had been cut off so he and other neighbors cooked meals for them. Reporter norristown Fire Fighters got the call around 4 00 a. M. When they arrived on the 800 block of dekalb street flames were shooting from the twin home and several people were trapped inside. Fire stations located, about a block away from the scene. Fire fighters arrived and found a three story dwelling with heavy fire, visible from the first floor of the home. Reporter marco dough minkes lives across the street and woke up when he heard his neighbors screaming for help. She was in shock. Reporter soon after, marco says he saw Fire Fighters, pulled the two girls out of the home and start cpr. They wouldnt respond. They took them to the ambulance. They took them to the hospital. Reporter Officials Say three people were killed, two adults and one child. Another child was rushed to chop in critical condition. 827, says that the damage there is mostly expect and she heard that she would be returning in a couple days. Damage to the 825, side where the fire started is more extensive. She says that it will take, quite sometime to rebuild that property. Seventeen people are being helped by the american red cross. The woman was found at 2 30 this afternoon on the 2900 block of rosefield street. Police have not released details about the victim but they do say there were signs of the trauma to her head and neighbors tell action news that the abandoned property is a known drug house. It was in such decay that the detective wore hazmat suits as they investigated. Police are investigating the death of the woman found dead this morning on the street in society hill. At 2 30 police were called to south fifth street near lombard for an unresponsive woman. Medics tried to revive her but she was pronounced dead at the scene this is at south street spring festival was taking place less than a block away. Investigators say would the man was in her 50s but apart from that investigators have no information about her including the cause of her death. Former Philadelphia Police commissioner Willie Williams was laid to rest today.
