The most recent heist was in pnc branch in center city on monday. This man in his late 40s to early 50s entered the bank, approached a teller demanding money. He then fled on foot. The fashionminded thief was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants and he had matching sneakers to bring the look all together. Hes believed to be the same man who held up the Citizens Branch on 151515 market on april 29th. Then theres shady and shades. Age 50ish. The fbi said on tuesday at 2 30 he held up the branch on spring garden. He wore a puffy coat, blue jeans, a baseball cap. Have weapons been displayed in any of these jobs . They have not. Authorities say on april 29th, he held up the pnc branch at 1849 walnut. And last but not least, theres this guy. I guess you could say hes camera shy. The fbi is seeking him in connection with a holdup at the Citizens Branch at 123 chestnut. White male in his 30s wearing a red jacket and blue jeans. Authorities say there have been eight Bank Robberies since april 29th being committed by at least four men and they believe the men are taking advantage of the Rainy Weather knowing the Police Response is going to be delayed and they can change the wardrobe up a bit. After the bank robbers are able to put on jackets and put on clothes to blend in with public and majority of these robberies are here in the center city district. And while there are designated bike lanes like this one on several city streets, one local group is saying that is not enough if cyclists and motorists are to share the road. Police are still looking for a driver who hit a cyclist in philadelphia early this morning. And theyre investigating a deadly crash involving a cyclist and a septa bus. I was four cars behind the bus. I didnt find out till a few hours later that there was an accident. Reporter police say a cyclist cut in front of a bus driver moments before impact. The number of people on bikes who are being killed is too high. Reporter last year, nine cyclists were killed in crashes on city streets. And so far this year, theres been two. And according to penndot, almost half of the states 1,271 crashes involving bikes happened in philadelphia. The Bicycle Coalition says more new intersection designs and redlight cameras might help curb the problem. Is there a fear its on pace to be as bad as last year . Im concerned it is very troublesome that weve had two bicycle deaths already and its not even the end of may and two bicycle crashes in 24 hours. I would like to see more protected lanes, because even the bike lanes that we have, cars swerve into them all the time. Reporter drivers say sharing the road is a twoway street. Sometimes they wont even drive on the side. Theyll actually drive and weave through traffic. Its kind of dangerous for them but for us at the same time because were liable for that.
