The weekend was suppose to be all about our nations bravest, but instead the crews with the Wounded Warriors project are also dealing with a 40,000 theft. I think it was a lot of shock, we used so much of the this equipment to support the warriors over the course of these three days. All of these elements come together to help the warriors feel comfortable and make them feel like they can reengage in the community. Staff and volunteers were staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Delaware County for the annual soldiers right event, they parked a uhaul truck about half the size of this one with 40,000 worth of bikes and other equipment. When they came out it was gone. We have to raise funds and we want to enlist public support in terms of recovering the items to continue our life changing program.
