Securities the firm that provided guards for the plant. Testimony showed the unarmed security guards failed to warn employees that hiller had a gun. Shes now serving life in prison without parole. 11 people now face felony charges for what investigators call an elaborate Auto Insurance fraud scheme. Delaware county d. A. Jack whelan says darby borough ought though shop owner frank wilson has been under investigation for years. He says wilson enhanced damage to vehicles and profitd from inflated claims. Wilson and 10 alleged coconspirators defrauded insurance companies. Two victims killed in a plane crash in Chester County still have not been identified. We learn that investigators are concerned about witness reports of a sputtering engine at takeoff. Were also learning why the flight took place. It was a flight evaluation or a check ride. Every two years a u. S. Pilot is supposed to undergo a check ride with an faa designated flight instructor. That is what the case was yesterday. But it went terribly wrong. Investigators were at the crash site today not far from the end of the brandywine runway. The family of one of the pilots stopped and talked to the ntsb and took in the sight where the small plane slammed into the ground and burned yesterday. Doug stuart learned the fly here walking his dog yesterday near the runway he told us he watched the piper first stop a takeoff roll. He went about halfway down the runway and then aborted the takeoff. Reporter he stopped the takeoff. Yeah, he pulled off onto the taxi way. Reporter a short time later he says the plane rolled again, this time he heard a disturbing noise. What sounded like a car backfire and about four of them a very loud pop and then he actually left the ground and then i heard about eight more pops. Reporter stuart says the plane struggled, turned abruptly left and dropped. The ntsb says another witness reported hearing a sputtering engine. Followed by an engine that was engine power was restored by the witness account. The witness heard the sputtering again. Reporter the investigation will look at many things including engine records and fuel though the intense fire likely burned much of the fuel. Based on the accounts of a sputtering engine were going to check the fuel supply system. The tanks are consumed portions of them are consumed but we will check what we can. Reporter well, the process of accident evaluation here could take months, maybe as much as a year before there will be a final report though they hope to have a preliminary report out maybe in the next 10 days or so. They hoped to release the pilots names today but in talking to the coroner, it may be until wednesday they are waiting for dental records to make a positive i. D. She was hospitalized over the weekend after suffering what sources describe as diabetic related seizures. Sources say finch was arrested and arraigned in her hospital bed this morning. She is charged with making terroristic threats possession of an instrument of crime and simple assault.
