The money comes from his Council Salary that he donates each year. Today is giving tuesday a day to remain everything what is really important for this period between thanksgiving and christmas. And after four years its really catching on. Katherine scott profiles one example of giving tuesday. Its no easy feat to raise thousands of shoes but the students at Queen Mary School are trying. We ask everyone in the our families. And the martino family provides. You know how many shoes are in that bag. I dont know but i think its a lot. The school is running a shoe collection with funds to organize. The nonprofit buys the shoes from the school and ships them around the world. They can be sold or repurchased giving opportunities for families to buy businesses in their community. The money the school makes goes towards programming and equipment and any shoes are accepted as long as they are gently worn and anyone is able to drop or donations. I think im going to do that next. We really want to have the children understand tl is a bigger world around them. It teaches them a great lesson when they are growing up and they know no care for other people and be thankful for what they have. The drive started on november 4th and they have 2,000 pairs and posters and emails and announcements and phone calls. All with an effort to drum up support. A special push for giving tuesday. People were out on black friday fighting of televisions so having a day that is meant to provide an opportunity to think about serving others is a really great skill to have in our own lives and to teach children. There is still time to drop off. The collection runs until Martin Luther king day, they open the school then for a day of service to sort and count the shoes. Katherine scott, channel 6 action news. No more than one hundred milligrams as it affects how well it works. Brilinta helps keep my platelets from sticking together and forming a clot. Brilinta reduced the chance of another heart attack. Or dying from one. It worked better than plavix. Dont stop taking brilinta without talking to your doctor since stopping it too soon increases your risk of clots in your stent, heart attack, stroke, and even death. Brilinta may cause bruising or bleeding more easily, or serious, sometimes fatal bleeding. Dont take brilinta if you have bleeding, like stomach ulcers, a history of bleeding in the brain, or severe liver problems. Tell your doctor about bleeding, new or unexpected shortness of breath, any planned surgery, and all medicines you take. Talk to your doctor about brilinta. Im doing all i can. That includes brilinta. If you cant afford your medication, astra zeneca may be able to help. But you cant. Because parsley cant talk. Just like i cant play piano. And trenton an inch of rain and Atlantic City a half inch. Reports showing we are seeing fog developing generally west right now with the clouds start to thin out and lancaster reporting visible less than a mile.
