We have new information in the double fatal crash that claimed the life of a new jersey state trooper. Autopsy and toxicology reports show that 61yearold dr. Lloyd ruddily did not have drugs in his system when he collided with williams. He lost control, crossed the median and hit williams cruiser on route 55 in millville on december 5th. Both were killed. When they got a call for a welfare check along wood and priscilla. They found a man in a bmw passed out at the will. An officer tapped on the window and the man sped off losing the officer. He didnt get far, but before police could catch him, he caused this horrible crash. A man and a woman were inside the suv. The suspect slammed into. The man only had minor injuries, but crews had to free the woman who was trapped on the passenger side. In couldnt can really see her until they actually took her out. But she was conscious, but she was slowly moving. So she was hurt pretty bad. Reporter despite how bad it looks, police say the suspect ran away from this scene and yet again was able to lose the pursuing officers. Investigators set up a perimeter and were eventually able to arrest the suspect. Police confirm he was wanted for several outstanding warrants including dui.
