WPVI Action News At 1230 PM September 22, 2016

The streets last night. One protester was shot in the head police say by another civilian, the governor of North Carolina has declared a state of money. Police say they are searching for a person of interest for the murder of a woman in yaden, delaware county. Police say the victims throat was slashed and the police followed a trail of blood that led them to south philadelphia. And found what they believe is the murder weapon. They have not identified the victim. Philadelphia police are investigating a suspicious car fire that happened in north philadelphia. One person inside of the car was burned and remains hospitalized at this hour. Action news reporter, chad pradelli, is live where the car burst into flames at dolphin street and North Cleveland avenue. Reporter rick, investigators remain on the scene out here, behind me you can see the burned out car, a lot of questions surrounding this case. Chief among them is who started the fire and how . Police spent the morn with k9s inspecting the car. They say the car exploded several times blowing out nearby windows and startling away nearby residents. I heard it and fell to the floor, its a natural reaction, you know go for cover and the next reaction was get out of this house. It was not like a gunshot but like an explosion, and i was not going to do anything until i heard a man saying help me im burning. The man says he was targeted and someone threw an explosive device at the car, but they say its not an explosives incident but rather a fire incidence. How it started not clear. He said look at my hands, look at my hand zbrz the victim is at temple hospital but i am told in stable condition. Workers are trying to contain a propane leak the citys bridesburg section, they evacuated delaware avenue, no word on what caused the 1,000 pound propane tank to leak in the first place. President ial nominee, donald trump will come to the area again. In the meantime Hillary Clinton is off the trail and is said to be preparing for the first debate on monday night. Reporter rick and sara good afternoon. What we learned from the voters from the philly burbs told me they are not sold on either candidate. In an ordinary Election Year finding Hillary Clinton supporters, in a state that democrats carried for the past six elections. Im voting for Hillary Clinton because she is the best candidate. But this is no ordinary race. I am not going to vote for hillary just because she is a woman. The voters express their frustration with bother candidates. I feel like im in kindergarten watching a bunch of little kids fight back and forth. It is overwhelming, it is crazy between the drama and the negativity republicans did not hold back from criticizing donald trump or the process. I think we should stop acting like a fifth grader and its embarrassing. We need something different. These lifelong republicans are now undecided and winning over the swing state voters crucial especially for donald trump. Pennsylvania is essentially a must win state for donald trump. 20 electoral votes are up for grabs in pennsylvania. And no president ial candidate won here in the last 40 years without a big showing in the suburban counties. The same area we met the voters still on the fence. And the number one concern we heard from voters here is the economy and those that stay they are still undecided. And they tell me that based on what they see so far, both have a long way to go to win them over. Channel 6 action news.
