Gunfire at a mcdonalds in Montgomery County ended with a man dead in the drive. There was right now police are searching for that shooter. Action News Reporter Katherine Scott is live on west main street in norristown with more details. Good morning, katherineism good morning, tam. Thats right, this is a fatal shooting. What led up to it, the motive they remain under investigation but we do know that one person was shot multiple times right outside this Norristown Mcdonalds on the 200 block of west main street. Police just took down the crime scene tape. It looks like theyre starting to wrap up here. The victim is male. We dont yet know his age. This happened just before 11 30 last night. Neighbors reported hearing numerous shots, then they heard screaming. Police say the victim was shot at least six times. He collapsed right by the drive through window. At the time the dining room of the mcdonalds was closed but the drive through was opened. Police taped off the entire parking lot including the citgo gas station as they gathered evidence but again it looks like theyre wrapping up now. As for who is behind this, the suspect apparently fled toward the Transportation Center across the street. There are cameras right outside the mcdonalds so detectives will be looking for footage to see if theres any that can help in this investigation. It happened in philadelphias cobbs creek neighborhood this morning. Action News Reporter Annie Mccormick is live on that scene on south 60th street with the details. Annie. Reporter and matt, behind me you can see that the fire marshal is out here along with one police cruiser. You can see where that fire did begin in that burnt out home there where theres a bunch of rubble front of it debris rather. Police and fire crews believe that it started in that home where there were two squatters. They believe it started on the first floor but it spread on this block to at least three other businesses including a church and also a day care that hasnt been in has been in operation for several months but they were hoping to reopen at some point. Take a look at this video. The one alarm fire broke out around 1 00 a. M. On 60th street. Now the fire started in that vacant property we were just showing you and spread to three other property. One is a small church that was just renovate is there in a converted row house. Also damaged was a Day Care Center that closed down several months ago but they had hopes to maybe reopen. The owner telling me theyre not sure if theyre going to be able to do that. Also one Sneaker Store was affected. Its not clear if that store will be able to open. Now back out here live we are told that one firefighter did suffer a minor injury, a twisted ankle and had to be taken to the hospital to have that checked out. Police released the sketch of a man they say opened fire on another driver along i95 in philadelphia. It happened just before 6 30 yesterday morning near the girard point bridge. The shot caused the victims tire to blow out but was able to safely pull over. Police say the gunman then sped off onto the broad street exit and was driving a dark colored 2000 model Chevrolet Impala or malibu. A Wayne Valley High School student captured the frightening moments on cell phone video. screams . The philadelphia archdiocese plans to relocate the Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary and sell the current property in wynnewood Montgomery County. Officials made the announcement yesterday. The bishop says it could be a year before they find a new location and are looking at Villanova University or Saint Josephs university. Some neighbors though worry about what might become of the property once they leave. The seminary has been at that location for more than 140 years. A nationwide brand is downsizing and that could mean some job losses in the Lehigh Valley. The kraft heinz so says it plans to close seven plants one of the facilities is in Upper Macungie township and that means 340 workers will be losing their jobs in august.
