Big talkers now and a big day of Holiday Travel for one Airline Passenger in atlanta. It was both phenomenal and frustrating. Lets start with the good part. It started when Larry Kendrick got off the plane to major fanfare at hartsfieldjackson international airport. [cheers and applause] there he is, unbeknownst to him what was going on there, music was playing inside, there was a water cannon salute outside. Local leaders were there. The celebration at whats known as the worlds Busiest Airport to celebrate their 100 millionth passenger so congrats Larry Kendrick of biloxi, youre the one. They gave him a whole prize package, two round trip tickets anywhere that delta flies in the world, 500 bucks and a new car. Finally sitting living isnt exactly known for being spacious butter in new york city some super small apartments, were talking little micro units here are renting like mad. So, how small . Think teenie. 265 square feet basically the size of an average garage. And so far 60,000 new yorkers have applied to live at carmel place with only 55 units up for grabs, the beds are retractible but hey the ceilings are tall and theres a balcony. The rent about 3,000 a month. Its new york citys first micro Apartment Building created before the city enacted zoning rules requiring no less than 400 square feet. Residents say the upside here, less stuff, less clutter and so less cleaning, right. But if you want a queen size bed you better be really creative and ill tell you with a toddler theres no way i could figure this out but even back in my single days, i dont even know where would i put my shoes . That is a real. Real struggle. Burning question. Alicia thanks very much. It would appear that a well known hacking scandal is not stopping new users from sign up for ashley madison. That cleatin cheaterring web sie claims it has 4 million more users when news of the hack first broke. No such thing as bad publicity. The web site faces an uphill battle. The Parent Company he is fighting a number of lawsuits lee rated to that data breach and theyre asking for hefty payouts for damages. Lets switch gears here. Okay. Take another check on the roads tonight. All right, matt pelman standing by in the action news traffic center. He wont cheat us of any information. But i will try to help you cheat the delays this afternoon as you head out on the schuylkill expressway, there actually are delays out there this afternoon unlike this morning when things were pretty quiet. And were watching a broken down vehicle here on the ramp from the eastbound schuylkill to belmont avenue. To head into manayunk or bala cynwyd you can see the dv mostly blocking the ramp but track has been squeezing by on the right shoulder. Westbound are bigger delays. A half hour to get from the vine to the blue route, about double what it would be with no delay. Still have delays on the schuylkill coming out of king of prussia. Speeds like just 13 Miles Per Hour because of the earlier Police Activity by gulf mills. That has cleared now, though, so both eastbound lanes are opened headed toward the blue route. In tredyffrin watching a crash along swedesford road at valley forge road. Two accidents earlier this afternoon in North Coventry along route 100. Theres still one out there at neiman road to avoid. Earlier overturn vehicle crash on the new jersey turnpike southbound in gloucester county. Crash is gone. Damage is done. Speeds in the teens from exit four, route 73 down to approaching exit two for 322. You could use southbound 295 instead but steadiest speeds there are just in the teens as well so i would think local, roads like kings highway or 130 as alternates. In new castle delaware watch out for a crash along wrangle hill road. Better off on cox neck road as an alter alternate. Alternate. Well check it again in the next half hour. Meteorologist adam Joseph Standing by with that exclusive accuweather forecast. Ly. Meteorologist adam joseph joining us. We have some actual Winter Weather coming this way tonight. Yeah, the Lehigh Valley mainly is a concern for some sleet overnight. The rest of us pouring rain and even in the Lehigh Valley by the morning rush tomorrow, a soaking heavy rain even there. S weres a we take a look double scan live radar theres a few sprinkles here and there. Overall were not going really see this precipitation enhance or ramp up until between about 9 00 and 10 oclock tonight and especially after midnight thats when the heaviest rain will arrive. We are all in the low and the mid 40s at this point. The only place that is below freezing is in the poconos with your temperature at 31 degrees. But this is a beast of a storm. You can see he that spin working towards chicago. Once again low is cutting across the great lakes. The warm air will surge with this storm. Before that warm air filters in we have some cold air that is bumping into it, High Pressure from Eastern Canada wedging in some of that very dense low lying cold air. Overnight rain arrives. Brief mix farther north, Lehigh Valley into the poconos but even in allentown, lows are not expected to drop below freezing over tonight. Staying at 34. 40 degrees for philadelphia. In fact the Lehigh Valley, the ground is very warm right now despite your seeing sleet temperatures havent been below freezing up in this area since before december 21st. So, at 7 oclock tonight that Winter Weather advisory goes into effect. It also includes all of berks county and reading as well as you into the poconos. Again, sleet majority, then changing to rain. If you want any freezing rain, no one wants it but ill will be confined north of the lehigh tunnel especially in the poconos. At 10 oclock tonight rain for the majority of it. Theres that blue with some that sleet right on the brink of the Lehigh Valley. By 1 oclock in the morning its flipping to rain in reading, still sleet in allentown, heavy rain beginning to develop across much of the area. 4 oclock in the morning a soaking here, wilmington, dover to trenton, even the Lehigh Valley starting to change to rain and by the morning rush rain even as far north as the poconos, heavy at times. 10 oclock still heavy rain, so popping on the roads will be a major concern. That afternoon rain exits and maybe a little peek of sun here and there. Take a look at the rainfall amounts. Even the poconos picking up over a half inch of rain, same for the Lehigh Valley right around an inch for philadelphia down to the south a couple areas could see over that inch mark. And then the warmth is on here tomorrow afternoon. 62 philadelphia, near 70 tomorrow in dover and millville, Lehigh Valley the only place staying in the 40s tomorrow afternoon and it will be on the breezy side. The exclusive accuweather 7day forecast, 62 in the city tomorrow morning rain, drier in the afternoon. A lot of clouds wednesday. Another disturbance rolls by with a few showers Late Wednesday afternoon and evening. Warm at 57. A few peeks of sun as we end 2015 at 54 degrees. Flip that number, its much cooler for the mummers parade on new years day, breezy, 45 degrees but dry and then over the weekend into monday, back to more seasonable temperatures in the mid 40s and, hey, a string of sun on that seven day for the weekend.
