Its tough to shake the clouds today but most of us managed to dodge the rain drops. Lets go to adam joseph live at the big board. With the first look at the accuweather forecast. Its not bad in most locations right now, a little warmer than the last couple of days and a lot of clouds, as we look at stormtracker 6 live double scan a cluster of downpours and thunderstorms, active to the south and west and its starting to push into southern areas of delaware and new jersey as we close into double scan closer street level here, most of delaware seeing light showers north of dover and dover points south heavy rain and lightning strikes between lewes and cape may. She is on the verge of clinching the nomination, vernon odom is live today at Camden County college where clinton held a rally this afternoon. Reporter good evening brian, despite two losses in the midwestern primaries last night. Hillary clinton gave every sign she is confident that she will be the official democratic nominee by midjune and showed that in blackwood this afternoon. With new jerseys primary less than a month away, Hillary Clinton dropped into south jersey to lay ground work for the faceoff with Bernie Sanders who will still be waging his long shot battle for the nomination. But clintons main focus was the fall general election showdown with projected republican nominee, donald trump. Donald trump says wages are too high in america and they dont believe equal pay is a problem so we have a pretty big difference when it comes to the economy. The clinton camp concerned with a trend in the National Polls but so far not responding about bill clintons infidelity in the white house and his claims that she empowered him to do it. She says he is dangerous to national security. Advocating torture is a loose cannon, saying we should pull out of nato that is a loose cannon, and barring every muslim from coming into our country. The room was packed with true believers, loving her stump speech and hating trump as well. He is just crazy and a racist. He is closing in on the polls. That is a tell tale of our society. I hope he doesnt get in well have world war 3 in our hands, he wants to give everybody the nuclear bomb. Hillary has a lot of common sense and is mature. And experienced. Reporter brian the new jersey primary is june 7th, the same as californias, those are the last two big rich delegate primaries of the season. Im vernon odom, channel 6 action news. All right vernon, thank you. Clintons democratic rival moved his campaign to montana, Bernie Sanders addressed people and vowed not to drop out. He would have to win 98 of the remaining delegates to clinch the nomination and likely republican nominee donald trump is gearing up to win support from his own party. Tomorrow he will be on capitol hill with a meeting with gop leaders, including house speaker, paul ryan, who is not quite ready to endorse trump but the party needs a real unification if they want to win the nomination. And we are providing comfort and care and assisting the canadian government wherever it is needed. We are making sure from a mental standpoint when they start the Recovery Process they are in the right state of mind. Officials in alberta tells residents they will turn them away if they try to enter before the city is reopen. That is why a cutting from this tree that will thrive at the Memorial Plaza is so significant. Pretty powerful and special place. It will cost about 4. 5 million to create this holocaust Memorial Plaza and expect to have it cleat sometime next year. A thoughtful memorial there.
