He said, hey you to someone on the floor inside of the bathroom and shot them and then shot another person and then shot another person who happened to be directly behind me who i am told through the eyes of tiara shields me with their own body so i wasnt hurt. The pipes started to burst and the bathroom started to flood. The water started to rise, i thought i may drown sitting in the pile of bloody water. They are in recovery and in shock that she ever lived to tell this story. Im still here. The parents of patience carter got joy when they learned their daughter was alive and the parents of akira did not get that satisfaction, they waited 36 hours to hear she passed. I am filled with emptiness. Knowing my daughter is not coming home with us. It was suppose to be a celebration of life for the murray family. A celebration of kira murphy graduating and her full basketball college. I keep seeing her face. Akira and her cousin tiara parker and friend patience carter, begged the murrays to go to the pulse nightclub. It was a place that 18yearolds could attend. I didnt really want her to go. Dad take me. Dad i said to myself she is on vacation. The murrays dropped her off and then at 2 00 a. M. They got the text messages. Come get us now please they shooting. They jumped in the car and frank particularly drove to pulse. I receive aid phone call from daughter, saying mom i have been shot in the arm help me please im scared. Im bleeding so bad please help me call the cops and at this point she was in the bathroom and i guess the assailant guy was there with them. It was chaos and those with akira say she stayed on the phone with police and directing them to where they were held as hostages in the stall by mateen. They were should close but so far and did not learn of akirs death for 36 hours. They still dont know how she died an autopsy is pending. The loss is unbelievable. I have to know that she died for a good cause, saving her cousins and friends and was happy until the day she stopped breathing. Reporter coming up at 6 00 i sit down with tiara parker, she was with patience and akira in the nightclub in the bathroom stall. Well hear her story she was released from the hospital yesterday. And the wife of omar mateen is being considered for possible criminal charges this after a Law Enforcement officials says she may have known something about the incident in advance but claimed he tried to talk him out of the assault.
