Im trying. You know, but i got some bad news unfortunately, brian and sharrie. As we look at 95, it would have been busy anyway this afternoon because the phils game just ended so people are starting to head home. North on 95 into the great northeast and, uh, this is now in their way, an accident involving two trucks. You can see it taking out the two right lanes and of course its right here in the work zone. This just happened a couple of minutes ago. Just that left lane barely open to traffic at this point coming north on 95. If youre coming away from south philadelphia, can coming away from that phils game this is not the way you want to head. Even if you get on the schuylkill and deal with the westbound traffic there up to the boulevard, or even head into new jersey and use 130 northbound, Something Like that. 95 northbound not going to be the way to go and not to be outdone, theres also a crash on the southbound side just out of view by cottman in the work zone so southbound also rapidly jamming on 95. But the eastbound traffic still at a standstill off the schuylkill out to 95 and its going to be another fun filled week on the admiral wilson boulevard because as i told you last week that construction continues eastbound approaching 130 and then on 38 just past the old airport circle, so once again this afternoon were jammed solid headed in that direction. Lets grab the ipad to the commuter report on this monday afternoon. I hope you enjoyed your weekend because were not enjoying this ride home already. Multiple accidents on 95, one northbound, one southbound. Speeds in the teens or worse. Its a situation well be watching throughout the afternoon rush. A lot of lucky folks here down at the shore enjoying that sunshine this afternoon and a bit of a sea breeze. You see the camera bouncing on sky6 live in Atlantic City here. Cooling effect right along the shore but a lot of sunshine there, throwing some frisbee and you see a lot of folks theres a kid running with a tube to the water there. As we take a look at some of the numbers right along the shore, again, it is much cooler, only in the 70s for some, 80s elsewhere. Its 74 in beach haven. The Atlantic City airport 85 degrees. 80 in cape may. Then you head inland much warmer nfact hot for dover as well as millville at 90 degrees, 92 in trenton. Were 1 degree shy of tying the hottest temperature so far this year in philadelphia were sitting at 91 even the Lehigh Valley sitting at that 90degree mark. That will be passing through during the Early Morning hours and then a in southern areas tomorrow afternoon so it will be a slow progression with the front so ahead of it it will turn more humid overnight. Its a dry heat this afternoon. Some late thunderstorms popping in a few locations, closer to dawn. 68 in allentown, 72 philadelphia, 72 in dover and right around 70 at the immediate shore line and as we track the front with future tracker you see the initial band of some downpours or thunderstorms 5 oclock in the morning and our pennsylvania counties, they quickly push off the coast during the mid Morning Hours and then the front will stall right around wilmington, philadelphia. It is dry to the north and west but we are watching for some storms to spark especially southern parts of delaware and new jersey during the latter part of the afternoon hours tomorrow and its really interior southern new jersey, the shore, southern delaware and all the way back to baltimore and washington where there would be concerns for some wind and hail threats with any thunderstorm popping tomorrow afternoon and evening but from philadelphia north and west we should stay fairly quiet here as we go into tuesday afternoon. In the tropics we have Tropical Storm danielle heading towards mexico as shell push inland here this evening and overnight tonight. No threat to the u. S. But something to look at with this is that its the earliest fourth Tropical Storm weve seen this early in the season in the history of Tropical Development so its been a pretty active beginning of the tropical season but hopefully we can try to calm it down as we go later into the summer butter well have to see. As we take a look at that four day at 4 00 forecast, scattered thunderstorm in spots tomorrow earlier in the day in pennsylvania and during the afternoon in evening for southern new jersey and delaware, 88 degrees.
