He suffered broken bones and critical internal injuries after being shot multiple times. You never think its going to lap to you. But it lapse to all of us. Reporter the boys family says his godfather was driving him home from his grandmothers house. Police say around 11 30 they got caught in the crossfire when people in two vehicles started shooting in the area of east ashmead and clarkson streets. The boys godfather pulled over but police say a shooter in a vehicle fired shots into his car hitting him and the boy. Two other men on ashmead were shot by someone in another vehicle. We believe its two rivalling groups from two different districts and like a lot of this stupidity thats been going on for years and years and years much of which may be being fueled by social media. Reporter at least 50 bullet casings were found at the scene from multiple weapons including from an assault rifle. Homes and vehicles were struck. One bullet went through Julian Williams front wall. You could see all of the lightning associated with it and remember when you hear the roar, head indoors because lightning can strike even if youre about 10 miles away from the storm so about 4 24 its in morgantown, 426 pressing eastward into honey brook and also by 4 34 its moving into pine swamp. Now, weve got another cluster of activity moving across areas in burlington county.
