Investigators are near the first thanks in bank and trust of newtown on the 200 block of south bellevue avenue in langhorne. A witness told police the dye pack did explode but the suspect was still able to escape. We have now learned the name of the off duty officer accused of shooting his own son. Police say officer dorian young a 24 year veteran of the force got into an altercation with his 19yearold son on monday. During the fight at his home on taunton Street Police say officer young fired his personal gun twice hitting his son in the abdomen and the back. His son is still in Critical Condition today. Officer young is on a restricted duty. Its not clear at this point if the shooting was accidental. This sunday marks the 15th anniversary of the september 11th terror attacks. Delaware governor jack mark dell spoke at the Remembrance Service commending the students for carrying on the tradition. Hundreds of cadets lined up to salute the flag and to pay tribute to those who lost their lives. The Delaware Military Academy is the largest navy ng rotc Charter School in the nation. They say they feel its extremely important to remember this tragic event in American History this year and always.
