The crime happened this past saturday at 12 30 as the victim was leaving a restaurant, you see the group in question walking and looking in windows like they were looking for someone. The victim was there to get a job application and they were too afraid to talk on camera but couldnt believe what happened as the man left the restaurant. No sooner he turned to the left he is confronted by three males one hits him in the face so hard he falls to the ground and one repeatedly kicks him and punches him while removing items from him. At tacker his no mercy and repeatedly punched and kicked the helpless man. The brutal beat down gets worse and the suspects knock him unconscious and then take the victims money, wallet and cell phone and neighbors are thankful that the cameras were recording and captured pretty good images and they hope someone will recognize him and report it. They see someone and want to attack or was that their plan that day. That is another reason why we want to get them in. What transpired was brutal. Newcastle county police were trying to stop a suspect in a separate investigation along Market Street in wilmington that ended here in penny hill. This is an active scene where wilmington Newcastle County and Delaware State Police on site. Police responded to reports of shots fired at 24th and market in wilmington and Newcastle Police were trying to stop someone in the area and stopped by police in the parking lot of saint helenas church. And the suspect reportedly got out of his car and fled on foot and Police Chased him around the church and they radioed they had someone at gun point.
