They were called to a home on the 100 block of Spring Valley road after someone heard gunshots this morning. A woman in her 20s was found shot to death inside. Right now police are questioning a person of interest. They still do not know what led up to the shooting. Police are holding a News Conference at 5 oclock tonight. Well have more details as they are released. A man remains in custody for allegedly shooting at a womans car last night in bucks county. Police say 32yearold Brandon Grosso reached out the window of his car and fired a shot into the other vehicle in the richland crossings shopping center. Richard rojas appeared in court on friday just about 24 hours after police say he deliberately pulled a uturn in times square and started plowing down pedestrians. He waited for those cars to pass. And he accelerated striking down these pedestrians. That goes to a state of mind and his motivation. Reporter Surveillance Video now piecing together a time line. Investigators say rojas left his house at 10 30 and drove straight to times square. We got a car running people over. Reporter 18yearold alyssa elman and her sister. Alyssa did not survive her sister in the hospital with a collapsed lung. The screaming and hearing the the engine revving and it was just all so quick because before the screams, the revving and then the impact. Reporter witnesses describing him as crazed. He told police he smoked marijuana laced with pcp. Extra concrete barricades are now in place on several blocks where police say rojas kept accelerating until he crashed. He actually goes underneath the scaffold, parts of his car, the side view mirror, license plate are falling off as hes striking these pedestrians. People are being dragged. Theyre on top of the car. Reporter seven victims are still in the hospital. The next step now for police, theyre going to search the home of Richard Rojas try to find any information as to why he might have done this. Were getting a look at the cage that police say they found a toddler locked in home alone in north Manheim Township schuylkill county. He was one of three children left unattended their mother in the hospital, their father on watch is now behind bars. But the family is defending this contraption saying it is not a cage. We did not have the intentions of locking our children inside of a cage. Reporter but thats exactly what officials call it yesterday when they found tiffany georges three Children Home a on. There was a two month old child who was locked in a homemade cage. It was kind of fashioned out of plywood and wooden lattice, had a door on it with a barrel bolt so you could lock the door from the outside. But still george insists this is not a cage. Its a play pen. Its a crib. Its not a cage. Reporter meant to keep their toddler from climbing out. The whole purpose of it so that he couldnt get out and hurt himself. Reporter police found a oneyearold in a play pen and a one day mold a baby seat unstrapped. Officials say they were there alone and unattended for at least 40 minutes. Its not easy to look at. Reporter george admits she has a criminal past does not have custody of her sons and has had some run ins with children and Youth Services but she claims they have seen the pen.
