That warm front did not make the progress to the north and east so its 84 in washington, d. C. 86 in richmond, virginia. Typically we should be closer to about 78 this time of year and four of the last 12 years we had temperatures in the 90s for memorial day. We were not that hot today. A fife and drum corp was just one part of this memorial day parade in morrisville, bucks county. Local girl scouts and boy scouts also marched in the parade route. Starting around 9 oclock this morning were seeing delays on roads like the garden state parkway. Live at the cape may toll plaza on the northbound side. A little bit farther to the north beyond Sea Isle City up to the work zone at the a. C. Expressway you have some single digit speeds like 8 Miles Per Hour so there is still a backlog coming northbound on the parkway even at this hour. In Camden County we had a vehicle fire here on 295, southbound side by 168 the black horse pike. Thats all thats left. Its off to the side. Theres no delay. But we are seeing delays on the ben franklin bridge coming into center city from the mid span into eighth and vine. Delay thinning a little bit bullet but it has been heavy as people come back to the city. A an overturned trash truck on the blue route 476 southbound to get on the schuylkill eastbound. Traffic has been squeezing by at times on the shoulder but it looks like right now this ramp is temporarily blocked also mass transit on abnormal schedules today in most cases its a sunday schedule. Action news continues our memorial day coverage from ridley township where District Attorney jack whelan led a ceremony to remember the fallen delaware len three wreaths laid during a ceremony in hatfield Montgomery County this morning. This Memorial Day Service was organized by the hatfield American Legion post number 933. The ceremony concluded with a 21 gun salute and a lone bugler. And down at the shore, the 7mile island American Legion parade made its way through stone harbor. It ended at the Womens Civic Club on nine sixth street at the beach.
