Lee kaplan was charged with a number of crimes including raping a child and statutory assault. He is convicted on all counts against him. The parents allegedly gifted the girls to kaplan in exchange for financial help. They were found in his home after a tip from neighbors. A bucks county prisoner once on the run is back in custody. He was found sleeping in an old pickup truck on the property and when confronted he took off into the woods. And it took hours but police finally converged in warrington and people called 911 saying they too had seen selby during the morning hours. We brought in three k9 and we waited him out and had the dogs go in and flush him out. Authorities made the arrest at 12 45 this afternoon after finding selby hiding in bushes at county line road and drive. He was on the run after escaping from a transport vehicle after being arrested for failure to appear on a drug charge and his father daniel selby sr. Was arrested for allegedly helping his son escape from authorities. The 65yearold selby faces charges including eluding apprehension. Neighbors are just glad it is over.
