The 30 bypass, were seeing it in coatesville and also in west chester pike. In south jersey looking at route 40 and route 72 where youve got light rain currently out there but take a look at whats happening here on storm tracker6 live 3d. All of this heavy rain headed right into our direction. So, for the morning commute its light rain, its drizzle. This is late morning and into the afternoon hours that were going to be dealing with this. But thats not our only issue with the light rain and drizzle. Lets look at the temperatures. 46 degrees in martins creek, 50 pottstown, 52 in center city. In new jersey its 48 in browns mills and 55 in dover, delaware. We also have some pretty significant areas of fog so reduced visibility is a problem. Half a mile visibility at Philadelphia International airport, and wilmington. 8 in trenton right thal i95 corridor youve got visibility hovering under a mile but in many areas just a half mile. 3 in mount pocono, 1. 3 in millville. So thats a real issue as youre traveling today. Weve got wet roads, wet leaves and its hard to z60 degrees for your high today. By 9 00 a. M. , 54. Weve got light rain and drizzle through the morning commute. It picks up late in the afternoon. I think the worst of it will be afternoon time at 3 oclock some heavy rain coming down and 59. By 6 00 p. M. , 59 degrees. Holding in the upper 50s. The front doesnt actually clear until later tonight, matt so weve got another day to be dealing with all this. And that means that roads certainly will not be clear for quite awhile. Luckily they got the truck straightened out and moved along so everything is reopened on the ramp. Of course overnight construction also clear. Another view of the vine with broad street over top is here in center city and weve had to take a lot of cameras and kind of point them down toward the ground because if you try and look in the distance you cant see very far because of the fog but traffic here on the vine, the local vine and broad street is moving okay at this point despite the damp conditions. Its damp, its a little bit foggy here in bellmawr as well. 42 northbound come the headlights towards 295 with no delays yet. And that horrible accident from last evening right around 5 oclock involving the school bus is all cleared out in southampton township burlington county. Everything is reopened for this morning along pemberton road but we have a restriction because of some high water still out here in pennsauken on the ramp from 38 westbound to 130. Action news has learned that police in south jersey are questioning a person of interest in the case of a missing mother and her three month old baby. Action News Reporter Annie Mccormick is live outside Vineland Police with the full story. Annie. Reporter matt, thats right, police are questioning a person of interest but at this hour no arrests have been made and they still have not located that missing mother and her infant daughter. We love her. We just lope tha hope that shey and the baby is only three months. Reporter family members are besides themselves as Police Continue to investigate the disappearance of 34yearold Neidy Ramirez and her three month old daughter genesis. Family members say its unlike ramirez to disappear. She has two more kids. Theyre here asking for her. They want to know where his mom is. We dont like i dont know what to tell them. Reporter police say the mom was last spotted at this laundromat on friday with her three children. Saturday a coworker saw her abandoned chevy trailblazer on route 55 and notified her family. Her family arrived, then called police. State police had responded out there. There was nothing suspicious with the vehicle. But the vehicle was towed off the roadway by the state police. Reporter police are checking financial and phone records. Ramirez never showed up to work monday at contes restaurant something out of character for her. Last night her coworkers gathered and prayed for a safe return. We want her to come home and be safe and the baby be safe. Reporter police have been able to build that time line of ramirez over the past couple days because of the help of people coming forward. Of course they want more information. Eight High School Students are recovering from a deadly headon collision in burlington county. State police say a Volkswagen Passat slammed into their school bus yesterday evening. The lenape Valley Swim Team was on board. Two men riding in the car were killed. The students injuries are considered minor. Well have more on the crash in our next half hour. New this morning a federal judge grant add hearing to a former death row inmate over his medical care. Mumia abu jamals lawyers say he was denied proper medical care both in prison and during a hospital stay this year at guyinger medical center. It stems from a medical dispute and not any indifference towards his well being. Mumia spent nearly 30 years on death row in the 1981 slaying of a Philadelphia Police officer. The sentence was overturned. Hes now serving a life sentence at a state prison in schuylkill county. The hearing is scheduled for december 18th in scranton. This is also now. A chicken pox outbreak has the Philadelphia Federal Detention Center on lockdown this morning. Lets head on over to action News Reporter Katherine Scott. Shes live outside the prison. Katherine weve heard that this is laying a high Profile Court Hearing this morning. Reporter thwart, tam an outbreak of chicken pox here at the federal Detention Center prompted a judge in delaware to cancel todays hearing for a secret Service Officer accused of sexting a delaware teenager. You can actually see that here at the front door of the facility theres a sign post they had tells people that all visits have been suspended at the facility at seventh and arch. A prosecutor said law told that all inmates have been quarantined. Theres also a recorded message if you call the main number. According to the alerts the inmates are aware of the situation. That secret Service Officer Lee Robert Moore had a detention hearing excelled for today. He was caught in an undercover online sex sting by Delaware State Police charged last month with trying to solicit sex from an undercover agent he thought it was 14yearold girl. Prosecutors say moore sometimes engaged in theseline chats while he was on duty at the white house. He faces a federal charge and state charges. Chicken pox which for years was a common childhood illness where you can get an itchy rash on your skin is a lot more rare these days since its now preventible by a vaccine but it is highly contagious if youve never had the virus or if youve never been vaccinated. A woman has been charged with fabricating threats against black students at new jerseys kean university. Police say 24yearold Kayla Simone Mckelvey took thats right a rally on kanes campus last mom the former student is accused of going to a Campus Library computer posting threatening messages on twitter and then returning to their rally to raise awareness about those same threats. Security was increased on campus after those threats were discovered and there were calls for the resignation of the schools president. 5 38 now. Already traffic is jammed solid from past gladwyne through this point at conshohocken where everybody has to funnel into that right lane to get by. Then just up ahead on the ramp from the westbound schuylkill to the blue route northbound theres a broken down vehicle partially blocking the ramp so double trouble on the schuylkill expressway westbound this morning in the conshohocken area. Also watching a new crash in perkiomenville mock along deep creek road. Stay over on 29 toward green lane. Thats open and clear at this point. Just a little bit wet and a little bit foggy. Later on today more construction just like yesterday is going to close linfield trap road in limerick. You can use Limerick Center road as a local alternate from 9 00 until 3 00 or stay down on main street and township line road through royersford as alternates if youre headed over towards 422. Couple flooding locations remain in new castle. Piles lane shut down at pigeon point road.
