Yesterday we had problems where some trains got full and just bypassed, these kind of became express trains and we expect Something Like that could happen again today. Use your offramps to south street. Tam. A roof stop square at the bellevue hotel. Who he is are questioning two people found with suspicious items including what appears to be smoke bombs. Annie mccormick is live outside southwest detectives where those two people are being held. Good morning, annie. Good morning, tam, thats right. Investigators from Homeland Security are interviewing those two people here at central detectives. They say that they were found on top of the roof of the bellevue. They say that they were taken into custody for unauthorized access to the roof but investigators are still trying to figure out if they even committed a crime while they were up there. Well, take a look at this video. This is video from chopper6 hd from last night over the hyatt at the bellevue in center city where Philadelphia Police began their investigation. It was around 7 00 last night that police were called to the building for reports of people running on the rooftop. Now, according to police at the scene last night when they arrived they found at least two people with smoke bombs, a suspicious liquid and camera equipment. Now, a man and woman were taken into custody for unauthorized access to the roof. Now, back out here live, thats pretty much all we know as investigators still continue to talk to them, again a man and a woman at this hour. No charges have been filed. New this morning a multi alarm fire damaged a popular restaurant and two neighboring businesses in south jersey. It happened at short hills deli on evesham road in cherry hill. Crews arrived at 1 45 this morning to find flames shooting up the outside wall of the restaurant and going into the second floor of the building. But there are no reports of any injuries. And this is not the first notable fire at this location. A carelessly discarded cigarette caused a threealarm fire at that same restaurant back in 2008. President obama and the first lady traveled to dallas today to mourn the deaths of five Police Officers gunned down last week during a protest march. A Police Report released last night details a threat made against Philadelphia Police at the second, sixth and 35th districts. The Department Released a statement saying police are taking the threat which is said to be a bomb threat that a bomb would be disguised as a baby that theyre taking this threat seriously and that it will be thoroughly investigated. Breaking update to a triple shooting after a basketball game in southwest philadelphia. One of the young victims has died. Reporter well, nydia, what we do know is that three teenagers were shot and one of them, a 15yearold died overnight and detectives here at the Homicide Division are investigating this case. Lets go to video from that scene in southwest philadelphia. This took place around 10 oclock last night. Police say the three boys, ages 14, 15 and 16 will be in a basketball tournament at a court right off baltimore avenue. They were walking from the playground right after the game let out when Authorities Say they were ambushed on the 6000 block of baltimore. At least 10 shots were fired from a large caliber semiautomatic weapon. The 15yearold was shot in the face. He was taken to the hospital in Critical Condition and we now know that he died overnight shortly after midnight. The 14yearold was shot in the arm and the 16yearold the ankle. Those injuries were not lifethreatening. Investigators say last week there was a fight at a basketball game involving at least one of the boys and its possible the two incidents are connected. Police do have descriptions of the two people that theyre looking for. One is a male wearing a white tshirt, black adidas shorts and hes about 5 feet 9inches. A second male was wearing a red tshirt and he had a bandana covering his face as a mask. And after the shooting, both of these individuals fled on foot in an unknown direction. Reporter and police are now checking for Surveillance Footage on baltimore avenue to see if theres any that can help in this case. So far no arrests have been made. A michigan sheriff says all indications are the inmate who fatally shot two bailiffs at a courthouse was trying to break out of custody. 44yearold Larry Darnell gordon was at the courthouse for a hearing on multiple felony charges. The sheriff says authorities had no warning signs gordon would be violent. Again, two bail lives died. A deputy who was injured in the shooting is doing fine. Hes in intensive care after surgery. A woman was also injured. Gordon was killed by other officers. Happening today, a philadelphia judge is expected to unseal documents that could reveal what and when former penn state football coach joe paterno knew about Jerry Sanduskys sexual abuse. The documents from an insurance lawsuit could reveal a claim by a boy who says he told paterno about the molestation in 1976. That would conflict with paternos account that he first received a complaint about sandusky in 2001. Sandusky is already serving prison time for his convictions of child sexual abuse.
