Family members say three young boys including the 10yearold victim was crossing delsea drive walking down elmer street. One boy made it across. The victim was was crossing and a third was about to cross when the Police Cruiser hit and killed the child. The father and two young boys with the victim and his girlfriend were in the truck trailing behind the boys. The Prosecutors Office is involved as they investigate all fatal accidents in the county. In a statement the Prosecutors Office said when a young life is lost like this it is tragic for anyone. They support the officer involved who is very shaken up and say their prayers go out to the family. We offer our deepest condolences to the family of that child.
